happy to know that a new train from Bengaluru to Vasco through Konkan without touching Mangaluru Junction joing KR directly thrugh Padil Junction. Timings are good. So one thing is confirmed anything is possible. This train was possible due to Suresh Angadi intervention else this would have not been possible. SWR always used to say Ghat restrictions etc. 16513/16523 is cancelled. This is a good one which was not required. I agree many will not accept my views. Move is good. Atleast we have a direct train from Bengaluru which reaches Karwar early

I dont think so that will be possible till Udupi has pit lanes and other infrastructure. I feel KR has to take initiation in doing this mainly in Udupi if they have space or else somewhere nearby where they arrange pit lanes and parking lanes. Then they can start. The biggest hurdle will be that SWR does not have any slot on the ghat section correctly. Once doubling is done then they will additional slots for running trains in this line.
