The train runs with almost accurate punctuality. Recently when I travelled in this train from Howrah to Kalyan, I spotted that sometimes it delays with about half an hour on one station and on the next station it arrives ten minutes before! excellent!
Ya would always make up as got extended timing.. but the train is very aggressive in running..have seen it getting 50 kmph speed before complete departure from Tata station

First time for Purushottam superfast...in record breaking adrenaline rush.. reaching from Kanpur to NDLS in just about 5 hrs today.. 11:22 pm-4:28 a.m.....4 hrs 10 minutes to Gaziabad.. just goes to show if given free run without making it go behind 110 kmph trains can go bang on right time
Ya and the biggest loser on this is mainly purushottam and mahabodhi, which are daily made to wait outside Allahabad for couple of hours minimum, such sorry state to see 130 kmph trains to make way for 110 kmph and go behind all the time
