I got accomodation in D1 coach; but I checked in indiarailinfo website and saw NO "D Coach" was found instead S1 to S7 & FC coach only i saw. Click to open. in this train a normal second general coach is used as D-1 between MAS and TPTY. it is not a 3*3 chair car but a second class coach with 90 seating capacity. It is marked as D 1 only between MAS-TPTY and SL coaches run as unreserved general coaches. Noted with thanks. Late one Tuesday night the Bangalore Express (as it was called in those days) departed Miraj station on a routine journey south, but as it crossed the Krishna River and started it's journey through the Jamkhandi Hills disaster was waiting on the track ahead. A pack of Chalukya Bears were playing on the track, the driver didn't stand a chance, the train was going too fast and hit the bears, killing most of them, it was the beginning of the end for the Chalukya Bears, their numbers were small and this accident was one they would never get over, the last sighting of a Chalukya Bear was 4 years ago and they are now believed to be extinct. ... Actually i bought ticket from nidamangalam and boarded at kumbakonam due to miss the train @ NMJ. But TTE is not accepting. After some time he allowed to travel. I came we can board till 3 stations(ie NMJ,TJ and KMU(third station). Is it true. 8 posts are hidden. Click to open. General guidlince followed by TTE working from SBC towards DMM. FOR all stations from SBC upto HUP they wait till HUP and allot RAC passangers only after HUP. For stations beyond HUP they do not clear and leave it to SCR TTE's. DMM TTE check tickets and for trains via GTL hand over to GTL TTE who allot everything. For GY route trains they them self do it after ATP. From mysore in evening dep trains everything is cleared by SBC tte's. we have people booking from MYS and boarding from BCN also and still TTE do not object. Also TTE check in only MYS quota and do not check in combined quota. Even after checking they do not allot seats and is done by SBC TTE only. Pradeep.. However, the for trains from MYS side SBC TTE's do get cheesed off if they find it anyother station other than KGI. When i was travelling in Kaveri once a lady had booked from Mandya to Chennai and boarded at SBC. The TTE was furious and almost said he will not allow her to travel. may be the odd hour saved the lady.. Not with all trains actually-for 12785 tis allotted after YNK itself-(Personal experience) i travelled in shalimar express from Shegaon to kalyan in S1 coach. it was horrible journey the Tc did not come to check our tickets, the coaches were filthy, dirty, rusty & toilet doors were broken. i fail to understand how the railways runs these outdated rakes regularly 40 hrs from Kurla to Kolkata. will the railways look into these for the safety of passengers do not post multiple blogs. #newfeature,#moderator Attention iOS(Safari browser) users(iPad and iPhone) Please note that Moderator Sir has implemented the following features on IRI. 1.
