Sushruth_89 79 blog postslooks like railways succumbed to pressure of north karnataka people by modifying this train route to a round about circular route, which is useless for people of bengaluru & its only beneficial for people of hubli,gadag,bellary to travel for delhi & vice versa as its too much time consuming for end to end pax. Better they restore it via dmm,kcg as earlier. coming to speed, we traveled from ubl to ypr, it arrived 8:45pm at ubl & departed at 9:45pm but still managed to reach ypr at 4:10 itself, much ahead of its scheduled arrival

I intended to catch the Rajya Rani Express to travel to Mysore, but I was a few minutes late and as I reached the platform, I had to watch Rajya Rani depart.
I then proceeded to buy tickets and waited for the Basava Express to arrive. Which it did in 10 minutes.
Please do sit in whichever seat you find in SL because the train gets full at SBC. This is a rather slow train. It was overtaken by the MAS-MYS Shatabdi at SBC.

absolutely, don't no when swr authorities speed up this train despite fully electrified double track on almost entire stretch. it takes almost 3+ hrs from gbd to sbc for a mere 75kms & gets more worse between sbc-mys

Sushruth_89 79 blog postsduring rush days, extended weekends, holidays, festivals,those travelling towards dvg,ubl people can board this train at ypr itself to avoid rush at sbc for general coaches as the same train goes to dharwad as 12725 which departs sbc at 1:00 pm

1. Board SBC - UBL Janshatabdi and catch this train at Hubballi
2. If you miss Janshatabdi also, then board 11022 applicable only for Fridays and catch this train from Pune/Lonavla/Kalyan wherever you wake up.
