some berth should be earmarked for senior citizens as i faced problem as i got all tickets as upper berth and lastly it bound me to cancel the journey

if some berth earmarked only for senior citizens then such things has not been yet declared by IR and how a common man will know that such type of reservation are to be done separately. is there any provision that if reservation are to be done separately then thise seats will be allotted to senior citizens

dont worry if ur ticket is e ticket and ur ticket is not confirmed then refund will come to ur account automatically but never board train if u find ur ticket is not confirmed after preparation of chart

Agar tatkal hai and ur ticket is not confirmed after chart preparationt hen u will get ur refund automatically. lekin agar chart preparation ke baad confirm ho gaya and agar app travel nahi kiye to no refund.
The seats allotted in under this PNR no. 4522732729 are UB,UB,MB,SU whereas two senior citizens at the age of 76,86 are travelling. This kind of allotment in not expected even after realizing the senior citizen travellers boarding. This should be looked into with utmost seriousness and arrangements should be made in order to confirm comfort. Few seats should be marked for senior citizens throughout the coverage of the train to ensure recommended allotments.
This forced me to cancel all the tickets and reschedule my journey including dates. Such kind of aggressive allotments are not expected for senior citizens during holiday times which creates a lot of hassle.

thanks dear but i hope there is no clear cut system for allotment of lower berth to senior citizens as this is not my first instances i have sufered such situation in my past also as for the last 26 years i used to do journey in our esteemed Indian Railway. and in one worse case one young girl refuse to give her lower berth and my parents forced to sit whole night
