Stops not only matters. The philosophy of slack and no proper bypass at Junctions makes trains run slowly.
For example if Proper bypass for BZA, VSKP, MAS ,RU,SC is there for sure any train can save 2-3 hrs.
In book they are creating bypasses but in TT and bypass infra makes them slower than the trains running via Junctions

nOT every run run will have those losses. Now a railways improved a lot comparatively. Loco issues, TSRs are very much reduced. 90% train from Nellore to Chennai given more than 4 hrs for 176 km. such a long distance around 42-43 kmph avg speed will create problem on total schedule. MAS-GDR certified for 130 kmph. Terminal issues or man power issues are comparatively consumes less money than we are spending money on other.
Railways can easily create some FLY OVERS at pain areas on their land for crossing , even train goes at 40 kmph in those flyover for 1-2 km still saves huge time. Most of the junction yards and Junctions needs redesign.

underground tunnels technology needs to be explored at junction where land issue is there. These all will cost more than 10-20 k crs , comparatively this is very less when compare to many other infra programs of IR.

Rules are set, but most of them taken double extra care. Also many of this working TT are not practical. What i mean is the reason for allowance is due to some cause. IR should tried to minimize them , so that train can be speed up.
Controls ignores ?? Its says the validity of this book. We cannot defend on data which is created to safegaurd thenselfs !!

Ya that's true. ANy ways as long as these issues are sorted out even if they make 160 kmph tracks it wont help. There many trains struck in slots and running like passenger train.

tHEY will do for 2 or 3 trains and claims did for total IR.
sEE tejas concept....Its told high speed trains but Mumbai-Karmali avg speed 50 kmph.
What ever inventions they do , that all for 2-3 route based out at Delhi. Remaining IR WILL NOT CHANGE

YES where ever needed the infra boost up not properly happening. IR still concentrating on age old issues. Main concentration only at Delhi and around few states , Mumbai region only. These are traditional IR routes from decades, the present RM saying many but results not much in infra. Except WIFI, Digitization nothing great happening as of now.
Lets see the doubling, Electrification target meets or not. Even if its meets will IR get new trains and existing trains will speed up also a big question.
