sir i live in that area it comes under dhanbad district of jharkhand u can search google regarding this.this is very true that it is in the border of jharkhand and wb but the district headquarter is in dhanbad.

Actually IR is not bound by state borders. They have divisions and zones. Station in the same state can fall in different zones.
The address of stations on this site has been updated by bloggers, so some discrepancy is bound to happen. As the site matures further these things will be rectified.

this train must be extended upto dhanbad because large no of students from dhanbad and bokaro go for higher study to banglore and there is no any train for banglore from these two cities.....and if it would extended upto dhanbad then only three and half our extra time will be required ..if any railway officials follow this site then please take care of this ...thanks

since there is no any direct train from dhanbad to banglore so railway should extend this train upto dhanbad because large no of students fron dhanbad and bokaro go for higher study to the silicon valley of india i.e banglore...and this train should run daily....pessengers of dhanbad and bokaro either go to howrah or ranchi which is time consuming and expensive .......hoping till next rail budget.

225 3-tier Ac berths are availiable today in general quota and 193 under tatkal.Wasting public money by running partially empty trains.While introduction of new trains feasability study has to be conducted and cost benifit analysis carried out.Introduction of new trains has become a fashion and prestiege for few and later on burning the hands for the wrong deeds.Ecor rethink once again.

i want to say about Dhanbad rail division...it is the 2nd largest division after bilaspur which gives railway big revenue but this division always get dissaponted in the rail budget..pepole of dhanbad always demand train for banglore since there is not any direct train to banglore which is called the IT city and lots of student go for higher study to banglore from dhanbad and bokaro but they are facing difficulty due to non availablity of train from dhanbad...and also dhanbad rail division require new trains for mumbai which is called the commercial capital thus it is necessary to have adirect link to the coal capital of india to commercial capital of india....railway officer should pay their attention on my issue and should introduce some new trains from here so that pepoles belonging to this div can say that our division is equal in rail facility and making orofit for...

ok...congratulations to dehradun...but then what you are saying is the revenues were earned due to freight...so how will the railways compensate by giving passenger trains. if the revenues get generated by express/mail trains, then it makes sense to have more trains

of course u r right but it was the data that show only revenue collection due to freight infact the profit earn by passengers and express trains that depart from dhanbad and passes from it is also big in figures .i have not the exact data about that one but i i want to say that dhanbd is one of the big industrial city of india ..pepoles from all state like gujrat,rajsthan kerala ,punjab ,orissa live here and work here.....dhanbad is among the world top 79th fastest growing city of world then any one can imagine that how many pepole travel from here daily? so demands of new train from this city is in favour of indianrail itself.....and there is no any matter of compensation..............thanks

this train should never be extended upto patna via gaya because 1. if it will happen then there will be a need of changing the engine in dhanbad which is time consuming. 2 already in this train there is very long waiting list and ticket will not confirm easily 3. this is only train which connect kerala to jharkhand and also chennai to jharkhand and from patna there is already separate trains for both these states
so it is better to think about a new train inspite of thinking about the extension of this train

of course this train should run from dhanbad via bokaro ranchi..........because mumbai mail is only train from dhanbad to mumbai which depart from howrah and having very long waiting list and also the departure time from dhanbad to mumbai of this train is not good.

Instead of running via Gaya and Gomoh,the train should have run via Dhanbhad and Kiul section.It would have given the train good occupency rate and more travellers would have been beneifeited.

ofcourse this train should run via dhanbad because very few pessengers means only 70 were tavel on the first day then we can imagine thai what will be conditon of this train after somtimes and railway will get losses only but if this train run via dhanbad then definately it will be useful for both i.e railway and pessengers.
