Anurag Sharma 314 blog postsI booked the ticket for CC in the morning at 10:30 under Tatkal for today's travel. I got the CKWL 26/6 status. I was worried about the confirmation but thanks to almighty, it is confirmed now as the status is showing CNF.
Now, my other worry is: How to find out my coach and seat? PNR status is showing just CNF and train halts for just 2 mins at GGN station.
Will I get the seat number after the chart is prepared?

Was surprised to see the new LHB coaches today in my ADI-BVI Journey today. It was a pleasant experience.
This will negatively impact the demand of Double Decker further.
Train departed good 20-25 minutes after the scheduled departure at 04:55 from ADI. Almost covered till BVI but delayed by 20 minutes as halted at Dahisar for a minute and at BVI outer for some time.

Since morning, I tried to book tickets through IRCTC website thrice. Everytime, my bank account was charged the money but at the confirmation page, I got following errors:
Booking Tickets are not allowed this time.
Approximately 12,000/- Rs. are stuck with IRCTC web site and I need to book these tickets urgently. Please find below the Screen Shot.

Please someone help me immediately as last 4 seats are left in AC2 for 12979 on Oct 11, 2014. As my 12000/- are already stuck in the system, not able to try it another time with worries if the transaction fails again.

1. I have 12 mbps broadband connection. Speed is amazingly fast.
2. I tried two different accounts for these transactions.
3. I do all my purchases online so know about the patience while payment is processing. So, I have never refreshed.

True, but as the amount is already stuck with IRCTC, I am worried to take another chance.
Luckily, I have extra money to go and book the ticket over the counter but think about someone who had just limited money in the account. If transaction fails, his money is stuck and even can't book further tickets. :(

Thanks! Never thought of this. Got credit cards but I always avoid using them as they tempt me to upgrade the class. ;)

Anurag Sharma 314 blog postsThe food served in 12239 - BCT - JP Duranto is pathetic. Today, for the lunch, the rotten dal and uncooked rice were served. Parantha was as thick as pizza base and was not cooked properly.
I was exited to see the well maintained livery but all enthusiasm of travel died with such bad quality of food.

My account has been moved to some new "Whatever" I don't know. But the problem is that I am not able to view my recently booked tickets.
