I got my ticket booked in 1AC with status W/L 2. I was not very sure about the confirmatio of the same as last year, my W/L 1 was not confirmed. Just checked that 2AC had RAC16 so went ahead and booked that as well. Now, please suggest me if I can go ahead and cancel the W/L 2 ticket for 1AC or should wait till last moment. The problem is if I wait till last moment and my 2AC also gets confirmed, I will loose half of the money on one of the ticket by cancelling it at last moment. Please suggest... since its very sure that 2A will get confirmed, so its better that you cancel 1A ticket, because for 1A's status you will have to wait till 11th hour and as u said, you may end up losing money. I have been charged on my account but no confirmation for tickets. I am not sure what to do now. Web site is hangged at Payment Gateway Page from last 10 Mins abd it asks me not to refresh or close the window. Close the page and try to Rebook or Go to PRS counter. Before booking just check booked History. If ticket not booked, the amount would be refunded in 3-4 working days. I don't know why IRCTC Web Site was such a mess whereas MMT using the support from the same Web site did it instantly. A way to let private sites earn more money? And 16K stuck for few days. Just think about the interest earned by such money everyday as I am sure that I am just one of thousands of people facing the same problem. If you are lucky to get a taxi on meter and if he doesn't take you for a ride, fair charge will be close to INR 160/-. I suggest instead of going by meter and travelling around, finalize a Taxi for INR 200/-. This will ensure that he takes the shortest route. I was under impression that after Rewari, this broad gauge work in in progress. Better, reach Dhaula Kuan and get a bus to Pilani directly or board a bus to Jhunjhunu. It will take you till Chirawa in 4 Hrs. From there, Pilani is 20 Mins. I hav already booked tkt so plz dnt suggest me the option of bus & m ready to give max 300 to taxi not more than that & reach DEE or DEC. M coming 2 delhi for the 1st time. I have no idea abt it. Better, you go to Delhi Cant station. You got better chance to catch the train. Delhi Cant is again 14 KMs from DEE and charges are same. As I told u ppl already that I hav booked the tkt. Recently i travelled in Charminar exp. from chennai to hyd. i found that every breaking time and taking pickup there is big jerk. it was too horible. no on board railway authorities could explain the reason...
