My brother moved out from that place few days ago only.
Yesterday when i seen news, i got in heavy tension and tried to call him but his phone was not connecting, then after i called one of his friend and asked from him, he told that my brother is safe because he is posted on a different location. But i was still fearing. But around 8 PM, i received call from my brother and he told me that he is completely safe but do not told about this news to parents because they will be in extra tension.

And that's the saddest (or i would say the Honorable) part of being in a military family. The extra unwanted tensions and sometime few anxious moments.
My dad is now retired and during retirement he said , "at last now he can breathe freely". But now he is saying "he was hapy when he was in uniform".

Yes many tensions rise everytime because it was a natural calamity and it may happne any time any where in that area where currently my brother is posted. I asked about there rescue operation then he told me that forget about there life, its too much hard to get there dead bodies soon. I have not meet my brother since past 18 months, but i also feel proud when i told someone that my brother is in Siachen and serving for country so that we can sleep safely.

At siachen , along with the human enemy ,also our soldiers have to counter the natural enemy.
People say many bad things about army men, sometimes false & somtimes true, but they don't know how much risk they take for the safety of the country-men and how much they give for these people.

Swatantrata senani express के बोगी नंबर B1 में ये वारदात रात में करीब 1 बजे से 2 बजे के बीच तक होती रही. लेकिन रेलवे की तरफ से कोई कदम नहीं उठाया गया. काफी देर बाद जब सुरक्षा बल आए तो लुटेरा गायब हो गया. चलती ट्रेन में लुटेरा कहां गायब हो गया, यह सवाल सबकी जेहन में था. तभी टिकट चेकिंग शुरू कर दी गई ताकि बेटिकट यात्रियों की पड़ताल कर उसमें से लुटेरे को तलाशा जा सके.
चेकिंग के दौरान एक शख्स बेटिकट निकला लेकिन वह अपना परिचय पुलिस वाले के रूप में देता रहा. बाद में जब उससे कड़ाई की गई तो उसने चोरी की घटना को कुबूल कर लिया और चोरी के सभी मोबाइल टायलेट के कमोड में मिल गए. इस पूरे घटनाक्रम के दौरान कोच में उपस्थित गाजीपुर के यात्री कुंवर रुपेंद्र बहादुर सिंह रिंकू ने चोर को पकड़े जाने का वीडियो बना लिया जिसे आप नीचे दिए गए लिंक पर क्लिक करके देख सकते हैं.
स्वतंत्रता सेनानी एक्सप्रेस के एसी कोच में बीती रात चाकू के बल पर कई घंटे तक लूटपाट करता रहा लुटेरा, सुरक्षा बल आए तो पहचान बदल कर गायब हो गया, दुबारा टेकिट चेकिंग के दौरान खुद को सिपाही बताता रहा लेकिन इस तरह कर लिया गया गिरफ्तार, देखें वीडियोclick here

MPS of this train will not be increased but after electrification completed, We can expect P7 loco for this train(Just a dream)
LHB coaches are light in weight and comfortable also so in ideal condition punctuality can be easily increased little bit due to better acceleration and braking.

चरण 1 -
यह मेरी पहली लम्बी दूरी की यात्रा थी इसीलिए में इस यात्रा के लिओए बहुत समय पहले इस प्रतीक्षा कर रहा था. यह यात्रा में अपने परिवार के सदस्यों जिसमे मेरी एक बड़ी बहन एवं १ बड़े भाई एवं मेरे माता पिता तथा मेरे बुआ के 3 बेटे एवं मेरी बुआ, मामा, मामी तथा मामा का 1 बेटा के साथ कर रहा था. हम सभी लोगो में 6 बच्चो की श्रेणी में आते थे बाकी सभी वयस्कों की श्रेणी में थे. मेने अपने माता पिता से पूछ-पूछ कर मार्ग में पड़ने वाले बड़े सहरो एवं स्टेशनों के नाम पता कर लिए थे एवं उनका मानचित्रावली पर अध्ययन भी कर लिया था.
वो दिन आ गया जिस दिन हमको यात्रा करनी थी. सारा सामान पूरी तरह से सजा लिया गया था लेकिन पिताजी किसी जरुरी काम में व्यस्त हो गए और हम सबको निकलने में बहुत देर हो गई. हम सभी ने जीप में सामान आहिस्ता से लगाया एवं सभी बच्चे जीप के पिछली वाली सीटो पर बैठ गए. हम दोपहर 3 बजे घर से निकले थे, उस समय फीरोजाबाद से आगरा केवल २ वाहन मार्ग था. एवं उस समय गोंडवाना एक्सप्रेस आगरा से शाम को 5 बजे खुलती थी. भाग्यवस हम आगरा तक कही भी जाम में नहीं फसे एवं जीप के चालक ने जीप को बेलनगंज वाले पुराने लोहे के पुल से निकला जो की अब सड़क यातायात के लिए बंद किया जा चूका है, मेने आगरा किला को काफी करीब से देखा. उसके बाद किसी तरह से एकदम 5 बजे आगरा छावनी पहुंचे. उनदिनों गोंडवाना एक्सप्रेस को महामाया एक्सप्रेस नाम से जाना जाता था एवं उसका क्रमांक 2410 था. गाड़ी अपने निर्धारित समय से 15 मिनट की देरी से चल रही थी इसीलिए हमने रहत की सांस ली और सामन को उठा कर प्लेटफार्म पर लगाना शुरू किया. मेने उस समय देखा की बिलासपुर से अमृतसर जाने वाली छत्तीसगढ़ एक्सप्रेस प्लेटफार्म क्रमांक 2 पर आ रही थी. उसी समय १ दूसरी यात्री गाड़ी प्लेटफार्म क्रमांक 1 पर रुकी जिसका नाम मुझे ध्यान नहीं पर उसका षष्ठम यान हमारे सामने आकर रुका. हमारा यान संख्या शया अष्टम था. मेने कहा की हमारा यान थोड़ा पीछे रुकेगा तो सभी ने सामान उठा कर थोड़ा पीछे रख दिया. शायद उस समय आगरा छावनी पर यान संख्या पदर्शन सुचना नहीं थी. हमारी गाड़ी बिना किसी पूर्व सुचना के 17 :20 पर आ गयी हमारे सामने शया यान नवम आकर ठहर गया लेकिन शया यान अष्टम उसके तुरंत आगे ही था इसीलिए हम सभी लोग आराम से गाड़ी में चढ़ गए

Part1
It was my first long time train travelling, i was travelling with my complete family and Family of my Buaji. There were 12 persons in that trip in which 6 were kids (including me) and 6 elder persons. I was too much excited for this trip so 10 days before starting of trip, i started asking to my mother about intermediate big stations and cities and started trying to plot the route on my school atlas of maps.
The day came when we were going to travel, All luggage was packed on-time but due to some urgent work of my father, we got delayed for leaving home, We fixed all luggage in a pre-hired Jeep and all children party sit in the back side of Jeep, We leaved from home at 3PM. Those days Firozabad to Agra was just a 2-lane highway and departing time of Gondwana Express was 17:00 from Agra Cant. We started praying that train will be late so that we can catch the train, Jeep took a good ride and did not stuck in traffic Jam anywhere, during journey to Agra i looked Agra Fort, we entered in Agra threw Old stretchy Bridge (A road cum Rail bridge which is now used for Trains only), and Finally we reached Agra Cant at exact 17:00. Luckily train was 15 minutes late so we got enough time to setting up luggage on platform, I looked Chhattisgarh Express was arriving at platform 2. Those days Gondwana Express was known as Mahamaya Express and no. was 2410. One train came on platform 1 at that time (not remember which train was) and i counted coaches, i found that we are standing in front of 6th coach from loco, Our coach was S8 so i was expecting that it should come on 8th place from loco and i told to my parents that our coach will not come here, Luggage was shifted few metres back, and at 17:20 our train entered in platform. S9 coach stopped in front of us. S8 was just behind that.

हम लोगो के गाड़ी के अंदर प्रवेश करते ही बच्चो के बीच खिड़की युद्ध शुरू हो गया यहाँ मेने अपना पैसा पासा फेंकते हुए बोला की में इसका प्रथम उत्तराधिकारी हू क्योकि मेने बहुत पहले से इसकी तयारी की है, इसीलिए मुझको खिड़की वाली सीट सर्वप्रथम मिली, लेकिन मेरी बहन के कहने पर मेने उनको भी अपने साथ बैठ कर यात्रा का आनंद उठाने का पूरा मौका दिया, बाकि सभी बच्चो को भी बगल वाली नीचे वाली सीट पर बिठा दिया गया जिसमे 1 सोने की सीट एवं २ खिड़की होती है

लेकिन उसके बाद किसी अनजान बीहड़ में हमारी गाड़ी ठहर गयी. काफी देर ठहरने के बाद हमारी गाड़ी चली लेकिन मेरी नज़ारे बेशब्री से ग्वालियर का इंतज़ार कर रही थी क्योकि मुझको बताया गया था की गाड़ी आगरा के बाद ग्वालियर रुकेगी ठीक 19 :23 पर हमने ग्वालियर में प्रवेश किया और हमने अपनी ज़िन्दगी में ऐसा पहला विकसित स्टेशन देखा जहा टीनशेड की जगह छत थी. मेरे पापा एवं मामा यहाँ पानी लेने के लिए उतरे की गाड़ी चलने लगी, लेकिन वो दोनों सफलता पूर्वक गाड़ी में वापस चढ़ गए. लेकिन उसके बाद मुझको बलपूर्वक खिड़की से हटा कर ऊपर वाली सीट पर पंहुचा दिया, यहाँ में अपने भाई बहनो के साथ बाते करने लगा एवं छुट्टियों को बिताने को लेकर कई सपने बुनने लगा. उसके बाद मेने कब खाना खाया आदि आदि मुझको कुछ भी याद नहीं. उसके बाद मुझको केवल अगले दिन की कहाँ याद है. हा इतना जरूर याद है की जब में सोने जा रहा था तब करीब 9 बजने वाले थे और गाड़ी झाँसी पहुचने वाली थी. झाँसी जाने वाले यात्री दरवाजों पर पहुंच गए थे

We all entered in train and here Window war was started among we all 6 children. Due to high priority i got window seat as a lower berth with sharing my sister, and all other 4 children were shifted to an empty side lower berth, i did not faced problem because my sister was not enjoying outside scene continuously, We crossed Chambal River in daylight but at some unknown location, train was stuck for a long halt. I was eagerly waiting for Gwalior as my mother told me that after Agra, Next stoppage will be Gwalior, at 19:23 our train entered in Gwalior platform no. 1. Crowd was waiting for train and our few family member get down from train for taking water, as train departed from Gwalior, I was no more permitted to sit on window because it was dinner and sleeping time, we all children climbed on upper berth and started some chatting about how we will enjoy holidays in Bhilai.

तृतीया चरण
जब में सोकर उठा उस समय रात्रि चल रही थी एवं में मध्य सीट पर था, लेकिन मैने पाया की मुझको बलपूर्वक हटाने वाले सभी वयस्क लोग अब गहरी नींद में है इसीलिए मै वापस खिड़की से सट कर बैठ गया. मेरी कूपे मै नीचे वाली सीटो पर मेरे माता पिता एवं ऊपर की सभी जगहों पर बच्चे सो रहे थे, मै अपनी माँ के पेरो के पास वाली खिड़की पर बैठ गया, उस समय गाड़ी एक बड़े स्टेशन पर ठहरी हुई थी एवं मुझे उसका नाम नहीं पता था ( दरअसल वो इटारसी था). अँधेरा होने के बाद भी मै मै बाहर के कुछ नज़ारे देख पा रहा था.जिस समय हल्का सा उजाला

हुआ उस समय मै अकेला सुरंगो के मध्य से गुजरने का आनंद उठा रहा था क्योकि अभी तक सभी दूसरे बच्चे सो ही रहे थे. लेकिन बैतूल आते ही मेरी माताजी जाग गयी और उन्होंने मुझे जगता हुआ देख कर सवाल किया की तुम कब जागे और यहाँ क्यों आ गए. लेकिन मैने बिना कोई बहन बनाये बता दिया की मै और कही नहीं गया था केवल यात्रा का आनंद उठाने के लिए खिड़की पर बैठ गया. तो मेरी माँ ने मेरा उत्साह और बढ़ाया साथ ही बताया की अभी गाड़ी और भी कई सुरंगो से गुजरेगी. कुछ समय बाद मेरे बड़े भाई भी जाग गए लेकिन वो मेरी माँ के साथ बाते करने मै व्यस्त थे, उसी समय गाड़ी फिरसे सुरंगो से गुजरने लगी तो मेरे भैया ने ज़बरदस्ती मेरे बुआ के छोटे बेटे को जगा दिया. लेकिन खिड़की युद्ध का विजेता अभी भी मै ही था. मै उसके बाद अपने बुआ के बेटे के साथ यात्रा का आनंद उठाने लगा एवं एक दृश्य देख कर मै चौक गया. पटरी सीधा पहाड़ की चोटी तक गयी थी. लेकिन पहाड़ी छेत्र खत्म होने पर सभी लोग सुबह के नास्ता मै व्यस्त हो गए, लेकिन मै खिड़की से हिला तक नहीं. मेरी माँ ने बताया किओ अगला बड़ा स्टेशन नागपुर होना चाहिए, एवं उसी समय मैने विचार विमर्श करके निस्कर्स निकला की जिस समय मै जगा था उस समय वो इटारसी ही था. सभी लोग बातो मै व्यस्त थे और मै मध्य प्रदेश एवं महाराष्ट्र के पतझड़ वाले जंगलो मे. लगभग पोन आठ बजे गाड़ी थोड़ा धीमी हुई तो मेरे पापा ने कहा की नागपुर आने वाला है. और हम नागपुर पहुंचे तब आठ बजने मे केवल पांच मिनट बाकी थे. यहाँ मे अपनी खिड़की वाली सीट से उठा एवं वादे के मुताबिक अपनी बुआ, बाकी सभी बच्चे एवं मामा, मामी को जगाने लगा

Not remember now that what happened next but when I waked up in next morning, I was on middle berth and it seems like night still was there, since my all elder family members were in deep sleep I carefully checked and found that in my cabin only my mother, father and children were sleeping so I again sit on lower berth on which my mother was sleeping, I looked that train was standing at some big station which was having water filling facility (It must be Itarsi only). I could not notice the station name but in darkness too, I was enjoying. When morning was getting in, I was alone enjoying Tunnels and beautiful bridges, but my mother waked up when we were standing at Betul, She asked me some questions that when I waked up and why I was sitting here but after my true answerers, she supported me for more rail fanning. After few time my elder brother also waked up at that time we were again crossing tunnels but at that time there was too much less sunlight, But after 10-15 minutes, everyone waked up. But nobody could snatched window seat from me. We enjoyed a lot of Tunnels and beautiful hills, I looked at a place when a dump line climbed on a hill upto peak (Actually it was Gundankhapa). But scenic beuty over, everyone get busy in breakfast but I did not move from window. My mother told me that next big station must be Nagpur but I was busy in enjoying dense forests of MP and MH. Around 7:45 train suddenly slow downed and my father told “NAGPUR aane wala he” and at 7:55, We were at Nagpur. Here I left my window seat and started my duty for waking up everyone.

चतुर्थ चरण
मे नागपुर मे गाड़ी की दिशा बदलने वाले हिस्से से परचित था क्योकि कुछ दिन पहले बाते करते समय मेरी माँ ने मुझको बता दिया था कि नागपुर मे दिशा बदल कर ही हम भिलाई जा सकते है. लेकिन बाकी बच्चे इस बात से परचित नहीं थे तो मैने इसका पूरा फायदा उठाते हुए उनको एक मनगढ़ंत कहानी सुना दी कि आगे पटरी ख़राब है इसीलिए गाड़ी वापस जाएगी और हम सब लोग वापस फीरोजाबाद जा रहे है. लेकिन उस समय सभी मुझ पर हसने लगे, लेकिन जैसे ही आठ बज कर चालीस मिनट पर गाड़ी उलटी दिशा मे खिसकने लगी, पहले तो सभी इसको भूलवश बताने लगे लेकिन मेरी बात याद करते ही सभी के होश उड़ गए.

और सभी लोगो ने पिछली रात को किये गए सारे कार्यकलापों के टूटने के भय से रोने चिल्लाने लगे, गनीमत रही कि उस समय मेरी माँ के शिवा और कोई वयस्क नहीं था, उन्होंने शांति से सबको समझाया और मुझे थोड़ा सा डांटा. पर मैने बताया कि मे इनको बताने वाला था लेकिन ये सभी मुझपर हसने लगे इसीलिए इनको बताना भूल गया. इसी बीच खिड़की पर बैठे बैठे मैने डायमंड क्रासिंग देखी और बोला देखो रेल कि पटरी का चौराहा , इसपर फिरसे सभी मुझपर हसने लगे, अबकी बार सारे वयस्क मौजूद थे इसीलिए उन सबको बिना वजह मुझ पर हसने कि वजह से डांट पड़ी. नागपुर के बाद शायद गाड़ी ने कोई भी ठहराव नहीं लिया एवं सीधे गोंदा आकर रुकी, गर्मी से मेरा बुरा हाल हो गया था लेकिन खिड़की वाली सीट मे छोड़ने को तैयार नहीं था. गोंदिया पर सभी ने डोसा खाया और उसके बाद फिरसे पहाड़ो का सिलसिला शुरू हो गया, यहाँ पर सुबह वाले मनमुटाव का असर था कि मेरी बुआ का बेटा अब मेरे साथ बैठ कर बहार देखने के बजाये दूसरी खिड़की से देख कर बोल रहा था कि यहाँ से अच्छा दिख रहा है लेकिन मे पहले से ही बहुत खुस था. लेकिन डोंगरगढ़ पर मुझसे कहा गया कि दूसरी तरफ वाली खिड़की पर पहुँचो और माँ बम्लेश्वरी देवी के दूर से हाथ जोड़ लो. उस समय गाड़ी डोंगरगढ़ पर नहीं रुकी एवं सभी लोगो ने उतरने के क्रियाकलाप शुरू कर दिए. तात्कालिक समय का तो पता नहीं लेकिन कुछ ही समय बाद हमारी गाड़ी दुर्ग जंक्शन पहुंच गयी.
पंचम चरण जो कि केवल औपचारिकता है, कुछ ही समय मे प्रस्तुत होगा.

I was aware about LR but all my brothers and sister were not aware so I just make fool them with making a fake announcement among them. I told all those that train will no more go ahead, there is some problem so our train will return form here and we cannot go to Bhilai, We all will go back to Agra. At that time they all started laughing on me but when actually train reversed. Everyone’s heart get break and started crying with thinking about dreams which we have discussed on upper berth last night. But my mother ensured them all and told geographic constrained, during that time I enjoyed diamond crossing and I told all that I looked 4-ways on rail track. Here again everyone started laughing but my mother cleared everyone that just after Nagpur when she was teaching everyone about geographic constrain, we crossed diamond crossing. After Nagpur I was started facing too much hot but still I was not leaving window seat. We reached Gondia after a long nonstop run, here everyone took tasty Masala Dosa. After Gondia again I got benefit and enjoyed natural beauty from Window. Here side lower berth was empty so we were enjoying with comparisons also (Like my cousin was saying meri side dekho samne tunnel dikh raha he, and I was saying mene subah bahut tunnel dekhe). At Dongargarh I again have to get up from my seat because My family members told me to make hands for MAA BAMLESHWARI DEVI. At that time again gossip started that we will come here and climb this hill for looking Maa Bamleshwari, and elders get busy for shifting luggage at Door. I don’t know that when train reached Durg.

यात्रा के कुछ निष्कर्ष
1. मैने सभी 12 लोगो के मध्य सबसे कम समय के लिए सोने की प्रतियोगिता मे पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया.
2 . खिड़की वाली सीट पर सबसे अधिक समय मैने ही बिताया
3 . जब सह यात्री भी यात्रा का मजा ले एवं यात्रा खत्म होने के बाद अनुभव बांटे तो यात्रा का अलग ही आनंद होता है.
4 . दुर्भाग्य से वो अबतक की आखिरी यात्रा थी जब मेरे सभी भाई बहनो ने अपने ताजा अनुभव मेरे साथ बांटे. अब रेलवे से लगाव केवल हमको बाकि रह गया बाकी सभी अपने अपने कामो मे व्यस्त हो गए
मेरे पुरे यात्रा वृतांत को पढ़ने के लिए आप सभी का हृदय से धन्यवाद

Here I get frustrated and asked my mother that still we not reached Bhilai, How much far Bhilai and why we did not go upto there by train? But my mother told me that soon we will go to Bhilai Don’t Worry and she make a first interaction of me to my Mousaji. Soon we came out from station and sit in car. Here again I got high priority among my brothers and sister, My mosaji offered me to sit with him on the front seat of Car. And after few minutes, we reached at our detination. When we reached Bhilai, Clock was showing exact 2:00PM.
Conclusions of Journey
1. I hold record of sleeping for least time among all travelers of our group.
2. I hold window seat for most time.
3. It is really amazing to enjoy journey with rail-fans. Now none of my brother or sister is rail-fan like earlier but I still a window addicted rail-fan.
4. I have not travelled with rail-fans after that journey so miss this journey too much.

This train was announced by the Railway Minister Mr Jaffer Sharief on 24th february, 1993 for 1993 - 94 railway budget as Jabalpur/Nagpur - HZN express. Thats why i was thinking why some people use to call it as Orange City Express. Frequency of 2407/2408 Nizamuddin - Nagpur Gondwana Express was increased to 2 days a week and it was made to run upto Bhusaval ,this announcement was made by Mr Nitish Kumar on Railway Budget 25th Feb 1999. Also the extension of this train from Nagpur to Bilaspur was done in the year 2001. This was announced in the 2001- 02 Railway Budget by Kum Mamta Banerjee. 1993, Train departure time was 17:00 but train arrived Agra at 23:00(late by 6 hours) reached Bhopal in morning and reached Durg/Bhilai in night 22:30.
So it may possible that they have changed train at Nagpur or maybe some RSA pattern exist those days.

yeah may be... As much as i know Chattisgarh Express use to reach Bina by 4 pm and Nagpur by 4 am next day. Use to be more or less on time at Bina. In fact i always use to ask why this train is called as Chattisgarh as at that time their was no state with that name, and Chattisgarh use to be part of Madhya Pradesh.

Just talked to my mother.
Yes Year was 2001 but when she travelled in 1993, She is sure that no change at Nagpur and That was Gondwana/Mahamaya only.
According to hir those days Gaondwana was a daily train upto Nagpur but only 3 days goes upto Bilaspur.
I think Nizamudding NAgpur Express was some other train those days with slot sharing with Gondwana Express

Im not sure buddy with this. Need to ask some one for that. In every summer holidays we use to take this train upto Nizamudin. Some obervations . I still remember first time i saw in this train way back in 97 that side upper seat is foldable ( hope im using correct term) like what we have in middle berth. 2) For some time loco change use to happen in Katni Murwara , yes i remember correctly it stopped going to Katni Junction rather then it use to go directly to Katni Murwara and loco change from diesel to elec use to happen, it was stopped after some time .3) most amazing was coupling thing which use to happen in Bina. I still remember once that rather then using Bhusawal loco KTE loco was used so our train was made to run some distance and after that it started...

coming back for coupling, my cousin started saying bro its going back to Jabalpur , just like your experince with nagpur station. 4) Ticket availability use to be tough for this train as compare to Mahakoushal and since at that time computerised tickets were not in place in every station lot of problems use to happen. Once i remember one fellow passenger from sagar got the same seat number which one fellow member was having in his ticket. One funny thing, this train was perfect example of rivaliry, as jabalpur was WCR headquarters and bilaspur was SECR one. May be that was the reason that from after 4 -5 years of its inception regular demand were made to make it as seprate. Their was logic also for that, train coming from bilaspur use to be always late however Jabalpur train use to be seldomly late. I still remeber once this train was allowed to go alone as the rake from bilaspur was too much late.so this train use to get late primarly due to the rake coming from Bilaspur. But these things become history in 2013 with the introduction of Nzm - Jbp express.please ignore grammatical and typo errors. Thanks
