The actual train number was something 07xxx but I don't think that is in IRI DB. So tagged this one, but found later that this one was via GTL

इंदौर. इंदौर-मनमाड़ रेल लाइन प्रोजेक्ट के लिए राज्य शासन जल्द विशेषज्ञों की कमेटी बनाएगा। इसके लिए सर्वे भी शुरू हो रहा है। प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 1100 करोड़ रुपए राज्य शासन को देना है। कमेटी महाराष्ट्र सरकार की कमेटी से सामंजस्य बैठाकर रेल मंत्रालय की मदद करेगी।

इंदौर-मनमाड़ रेल लाइन संघर्ष समिति के अध्यक्ष मनोज मराठे ने बताया कि यह प्रोजेक्ट तेजी से आगे बढ़ेगा। 8 साल में काम पूरा होने की संभावना है। अगले साल दीवाली तक मूल काम शुरू हो जाएगा। लेकिन राज्य शासन को भी जल्द कमेटी बनाकर पैसा रिलीज करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू करना होगी।

Good news! It will boost the economy along the route.
Just today news came that survey of Aurangabad-Chalisgaon completed and report is submitted to RB. Route will be in profit. This route will further boost the importance of Indore-Manmad new line. Aurangabad DMIC and idustrial area along with tourist and religious place will get direct connectivity with Indore industrail area, tourist and religious places around.

Pune: The Central Railway (CR) plans to build a chord line on the Pune-Manmad route which will bypass Daund station and help speed up long distance trains travelling on this route.
Sources from the Pune railway division said that plans are underway to bypass Daund station in the future and schedule long distance trains directly through Pune-Manmad route.
At present, many long distance trains travelling from Pune to places like Delhi, Howrah, Chandigarh among others are plied through Daund and Manmad.

Pune, trains first travel up to Daund. From Daund, the trains have to change their direction to travel up to Manmad. For changing direction, the engine has to be attached to the train on the other side. The process of changing engines takes over 40 minutes of time which could be avoided,” said sources from the railway.
They added that at present, there are plans that instead of travelling to Daund and changing engines for travelling up to Manmad, a chord line can be constructed two to three kilometres before Daund station.
This will help bypass Daund station thus saving one to two hours, said the sources. Officials from the Pune railway division said that plans for having a chord line are already in place but it would take close to two to three years for the work to get completed.
President of Railway Pravasi Group Harsha Shah said that it will be a welcome move if in the future, Daund station can be bypassed and long distance trains can be routed directly on the Pune-Manmad route.
“Daund is a technical halt for all long distance trains and not a commercial halt. This halt is mainly for changing the engine. If this can be avoided, then, long distance trains will be able to save two hours which will be very beneficial,”
added Shah.

Best way is to arrive at AWB by train and then catch MSRTC bust to Beed. Plenty of buses play between Aurangabad and Beed.
But I will advice to take direct but to Beed from Mumbai!

Beed is approximately 130km from AWB. U can catch bus from CIDCO Bus Stand which is approximately 7KM from AWB rly station. Auto Rickshow and City Buses are available. But Since Devgiri arrives at early morning, only Auto is available.
Beed will get railway connectivity in March 2019

Glad to know 17622 Renigunta-Aurangabad Express Timings has been revised. Dirty Slack of 2 hrs between Parli-Parbhani has been removed. Passengers travelling from Tirupati to Aurangabad has been benefited alot due to this decision. As expected, 17613/14 Nanded-Pune-Nanded is finally getting extended upto Panvel with good timings and increase in frequency. As of now 17063/64 will stay in Manmad only, it's a rumor that it was getting extended upto Panvel. 2 weeks before introducing new time-table, a responsible and chief person of Nanded Division Mr. Sinha informed in-front of Press that 17613/14 NED-PUNE-NED will be extended to PNVL for 3 days and new train will comes as NED-PNVL-NED VIA AWB for 4 days. But, now, we comes to know that 17613/14 will be running as 6 days in week skipping AWB. How a person like him gives false information? That also in-front of press, Is he working as DRM or Point-Man in SCR!!

This kind of lying about issues regarding AWB (or Marathwada as a whole) are not new. Everytime when delegation of representatives or activists meet DRM/ZRM regarding issues of division, these officers simply bluff anything that come in their mind because they are very well aware that neither political representatives nor activists have proper study/ knowledge of the division as well as how railway operation and management is done. So, here I will blame politicians and activists also for their lack of study. Many times I have seen politicians, Marathwada Railway Sangharsh Samiti or Pravasi Sena making some absurd demands which simply put SCR officials in denial mode very easily.

For them railway lines in Marathwada are only means to connect to Shirdi and North India (After GC of AK-Khandwa). You see after doubling of PBN-MUE, SCR will 1st ensure improved connectivity with SNSI rather than AWB. I don't know if anybody has noticed it or not, but SCR recently started constructing washable apron at Nagarsol, which clearly indicates their future plan. Today washable apron...means tomorrow a pit-line at NSL!! when I twitted about this to DRM and ZRM of SCR, to my shock, DRM of NED liked my tweet!! This shows Transport lobby of Shirdi is very well managing CR and SCR officials. That's why CR is delaying construction of Rotegaon-Puntamba railway line also.

Manmad has clockroom as far as I remember. Better get down at MMR. U can visit Gurudwara there and have Langar if u r visiting at meal timings. Its nice place.
another suggestion. If ur train arrives bang on time at MMR, then better to catch Marathwada Exp instead of Janshatabdi..u will reach earlier at AWB..!

Thank You for suggesting the Gurudwara. I would love to visit it.
I am not looking at Marathwada Exp as I will be traveling in a long distance train, so chances are it will be late by at least 1/2 hours. So Jan Shatabdi is a safe bet.
