It is an automated software which will generate the Railway Station Announcement by maintaining a database of required information in an excel sheet.
जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं कि भारतीय रेलवे दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी ट्रेन प्रणालियों में से एक है।

We can organise the announcement in two categories
1) pre-recorded announcement
2) spontaneous announcement.

Pre-recorded announcement are those announcement which are recorded earlier and can be used later. In this type of announcement all of the phrases are not recorded.
Only the variable phases which cahnges for every train and platform are recorded separately and the phrases which changes regularly are recorded separately.
May I have your attention please, train no. _______ with destination to __________ started from ____________ station via ___________ station _____(time) is going to depart/arrive from/at platform no._____
The above statement is recorded separately as these phrases are common in Evey announcement.
And the dashes can be recorded later with Station name and different numbers.

भारतीय रेलवे में अनाउंसमेंट सिस्टम हर स्टेशन पर स्टेशन मास्टर द्वारा कंप्यूटर द्वारा संचालित किया जाता है।
हम घोषणा को दो श्रेणियों में व्यवस्थित कर सकते हैं

1) पूर्व-दर्ज घोषणा Pre Recorded announcement
2) स्वतःस्फूर्त घोषणा। Spontaneous announcement
भारतीय रेलवे में विभिन्न प्रकार की तकनीकों का उपयोग किया जाता है। सबसे उन्नत I P I S आईपीआईएस (एकीकृत यात्री सूचना प्रणाली) है। इसमें मानक आवाज पूर्व-रिकॉर्ड की जाती है और केवल रिक्त स्थान ट्रेन संख्या, अपेक्षित आगमन समय, प्लेटफॉर्म इत्यादि से भरे जाते हैं। एक इंटरफ़ेस होता है जिसमें उपयोगकर्ता डेटा (ट्रेन संख्या, अपेक्षित समय, प्लेटफॉर्म इत्यादि) इनपुट करता है और है प्रदर्शन ट्रेन की जानकारी, उद्घोषक और कोच की स्थिति जैसे विभिन्न विकल्प।

केवल वेरिएबल फेज जो प्रत्येक ट्रेन और प्लेटफॉर्म के लिए अलग-अलग रिकॉर्ड किए जाते हैं और जो वाक्यांश नियमित रूप से बदलते हैं उन्हें अलग से रिकॉर्ड किया जाता है।

उपरोक्त कथन अलग से दर्ज किया गया है क्योंकि ये वाक्यांश प्रत्येक घोषणा में आम हैं।
और डैश को बाद में स्टेशन के नाम और विभिन्न नंबरों के साथ रिकॉर्ड किया जा सकता है।

लोकोमोटिव वर्ग WDM-2
भारत में आने वाले DL560C प्रकार का पहला लोको WDM-2 है।
अमेरिकन लोकोमोटिव कंपनी द्वारा डिजाइन किए गए एसी इलेक्ट्रिक ट्रांसमिशन के साथ डीजल-इलेक्ट्रिक लोकोमोटिव और भारतीय रेलवे के लिए बनारस लोकोमोटिव वर्क्स (BLW) वाराणसी द्वारा लाइसेंस के तहत उत्पादन किया जाता है, क्योंकि उनकी कक्षाएं WDM-2, WDM-3A / 2C, WDM-3D और WDG- भारत में ऑपरेशन के लिए 3 ए। लोकोमोटिव को 16-सिलेंडर ALCO 251 B, C डीजल इंजन के साथ लगाया गया है।

1960 के दशक की शुरुआत में भारतीय रेलवे को अपने स्टीम लोकोमोटिव बेड़े को बदलने के लिए एक विश्वसनीय डीजल वर्कहॉर्स की आवश्यकता थी।
परीक्षण के लिए ALCO के DL560C और
EMD के SD24 के समान संख्या (40 प्रत्येक) को चुना गया।
इनमें से प्रत्येक के अधिक इंजनों को अधिक परीक्षणों के लिए खरीदा गया था।
भारतीय रेलवे आयात के आधार पर देश में इन इंजनों के उत्पादन के लिए उत्सुक था।
EMD ट्रांसफर-ऑफ-टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए सहमत नहीं था,
जबकि ALCO ने किया था।
इस प्रकार ALCO DL560C को इसके आसान रखरखाव, विश्वसनीयता और सरल संचालन के कारण नौकरी के लिए चुना गया था।
और तब से विभिन्न विन्यासों में इस लोको की बड़ी संख्या में उत्पादन किया गया है और वे अभी भी भारतीय रेलवे के डीजल मार्ग पर हावी हैं।

Indian Railways has come up with a smart solution to tackle the challenges posed by winter fog. They've introduced 19,742 Fog Pass Devices to ensure that train services keep running smoothly, especially in areas where fog tends to play spoilsport during the colder months.

What are fog pass devices?
Every year, when winter brings in thick fog, it causes a lot of trouble for trains, especially in the northern parts of India. The Fog Pass Devices are like a superhero tool for trains, helping them navigate through foggy weather without major disruptions. Fog Pass Device is a GPS based navigation device that helps the loco pilot to navigate during dense fog conditions. It provides on-board real-time information (Display as well as voice guidance) to Loco Pilots regarding location of fixed landmarks such as Signal, Level Crossing gate (Manned & Unmanned), Permanent Speed Restrictions, Neutral Sections etc. It displays approach indications of next three approaching fixed landmarks in geographical order accompanied with voice message approximately 500m on approach.
Special features of fog pass devices:
Whether it's a single track or a double one, or if the tracks are powered by electricity or not, these devices can handle it all.
They get along with all kinds of trains, be it the ones that run on electricity or diesel, or those special ones like EMUs/MEMUs/DEMUs.
It has built-in re-chargeable battery back-up for 18 hrs.
It is portable, compact in size, light in weight (not more than 1.5 Kg
• including battery) and of robust design.
• Loco Pilot can carry the device easily with him to the locomotive on resuming his duty.
• It can be easily placed on the cab desk of locomotive.
• It is a standalone system.
• It is unaffected by weather conditions like Fog, Rain or Sunshine.
