Why the train departed late on Sunday 21st November (as per arr / dep history ), then when it would have reached Madras on 21st November ? Midnight ?

Delay was because of loco faliure. It was later hauled by 2 MUed WAG7s.

is it the SRC P4 from HWH to YPR? VSKP there will be a reversal.. doesn't the loco change there?

hi my pnr no is 6349690131 today is my train still it shows chart not prepared whwn will i know about the right status
Chart is prepared about 3-4 hours before the train starts its journey. As your train leaves the starting station by 22pm the chart should be prepared by 5/6pm today.

Where are the technical stoppages of 2245 Howrah-YPR Duronto? Anybody boarded the train so far?

This train doesn't have a engine change. The SRC WAP4 hauls this train from HWH to YPR and back.
Also, this train doesnot touch VSKP.
But for other south bound trains the change does happen @ VSKP.

I have seen this train @ YPR. The position of AC coaches will be at the end of the train when it leaves HWH that means close to the station building. 1st will be the I AC then the II ACs and then the III ACs , PC and then will be the SL coaches.

Hi All,
I’m hearing a news for sanctioning Rs160 Crore for a new broad guage line which connects Salar (SALE), in WB with that to the Shahibganj loop line, somewhere around Rampurhat (RPH) again in WB and will pass through Kandi.
I seems this was announced on 13th of October 2010 in HWH by ER DRM there (??), though there were not mention of the same in the Budget but as this is for Bengal you never know, it might have been a brain child of our RM.
