Railways should extend 11447/48 JBP-HWH Shaktipunj Express to Bhopal/Indore. A majority of the passengers in Shaktipunj Express travel to Singrauli and they have to travel to Jabalpur from Bhopal/Indore by connecting trains such as Amarkantak or Janshatabdi Exp. just to catch their onward train and waste most of the time in the waiting room. Like 11472/71 JBP-BPL was extended to Indore, 11447/48 should also be extended for the benefit of the passengers. From Bhopal, there are only two trains which connect Bhopal to Singrauli that too only twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday). Singrauli is a town with many industries and many people from there come to Bhopal/Indore for higher education and coaching institutes. A daily direct connectivity would definitely benefit the people from both the cities.

and Kota division of WCR is not treated well compared to JBP division which is the also the HQ of WCR. JBP division always gets priority over other divisions of WCR.
02191/92 JBP-SRC should also be extended to Bhopal. There are only two direct trains from Bhopal to Kolkata that too weekly. 02191/92 should start from Bhopal/Habibganj along with stoppage of 22829/30 BHUJ-SHM Exp. at Bhopal to benefit the people travelling to ROU/HTE/TATA/KGP/RIG/KRBA. There is also no option of flights to travel to Ranchi/Kolkata.
Connectivity to the eastern part of India is very poor from Bhopal. WCR/Railways should look into the matter.

Absurd and useless demand. Extension of Kolkata trains from JBP because SGRL needs a train to BPL is the most baseless justification that one can come up with.
JBP SRC Special was JBP's demand entirely. The train is going no where from here.
Demand for your own train than snatching them from other places.

I booked a ticket(E-ticket) for journey on 10th May 2014 from Nagpur to Itarsi but this train got cancelled on that day. To get the refund I filed TDR and after a month of filing, IRCTC didn't refund my money and said that the train was not cancelled on 10th May 2014.
In addition to this, they said they have received a letter from railways with letter no.: BCR170514V09902 and that letter states that the train was not cancelled.
But I want to know how come this is possible as the display

board at Nagpur station and also in NTES, status shown that this train is cancelled and the reason given by enquiry counter is that an accident took place on the previous night between NGP-ET section. Also 3 major trains were diverted between Bhopal and Sirpur Kagaznagar namely NZM-SC Duranto Exp., NZM-MAS Rajdhani and NDLS-HYB AP Exp.
I don't know what to do to get my money back.
Such a big communication gap between IRCTC and Indian Railways is undesirable and why should bear for that.
Anyone please suggest something.

The rake of this train has been permanently transferred to SBC Div. of SWR. The staff is also of SWR except the pantry car service which is still under NR's supervision.
When I traveled in this train on 3rd july this year, the bedroll and blanket given were fresh and shining like a brand new factory made. All this happened because SWR has took the overall charge of this train w.e.f 1/7/2013 from SBC and 2/7/2013 from NZM.
So, it is no more a NR train.

Total Distance between New Delhi & Bhopal is 701km, then why there should be any relaxation in terms of distance restriction.
There is no distance restriction in any reserved classes.

Same rule of 600 km applies to Kerala exp and Karnataka Exp...
I have seen this relaxation for Karnataka Exp at Kopargaon Rly stn and Kerala Exp at Kottayam stn(did not remember from where to where)...

I guess all the questions posted would be best answerable by IR or the relevant authorities. The next budget is due in Feb 2011 and the budget preparation would have moved to the final stages. So you can try.
