Dear all,
The ARP has now been reduced to 60 days. But is it the same for senior citizens too?? Means I heard that senior citizens can book even before 120 days prior to DOJ. Is it true??
Please share if anyone has idea regarding this.

It is possible. But there is a due procedure. If your friend boards at bubaneshwar his boarding at HWH gets cancelled and the seat will be reallocated. The procedure is to contact the reservation supervisor at HWH. He will suggest you to get a xerox of your friend's ID card and that of the ticket, and a fresh ticket will be issued stating the boarding from bubaneshwar. You cant do it without intimating the Supervisor.

Boarding point change of 1 pax is not possible.
However you can advise the TTE about your co-pax's boarding change and ask him not to allot anybody till BBS.
If the TTE agrees with you, you are through.

no boarding of a single passenger cannot be changed. the passenger boarding from hwh may request the tte not to allott the seat till bbs...but it is entirely upto tte's discretion...few cases hv bn reported where berths hv bn allotted to rac passengers inspite of such requests...

Thank you a lot for your concern.
means suppose I book a break journey ticket from Bhadrakh (BHC) to Bangalore (SBC) with BHC to Chennai (MAS) by Coromandel Exp and then from MAS to SBC by Bangalore Mail. Now I want to change the boarding point from BHC to Bhubaneswar (BBS) in the same Coromandel Exp (the route for Coromandel is BHC->BBS->MAS). Is it possible?

Actually speaking boarding point change doesn't have any restriction as far as software is concerned. But zones have few restrictions. Anyways For this case I think it is possible as it is first ticket. But let us wait for others views as Iam not sure

There has recently been a lot of frustration among RFs when their Station Pics, Loco Pics, Train Pics get rejected because the "number is not showing", "shed is not visible", the loco/train is at a distance, Train Board is too small, "better pic available", etc. . To address this issue, effective tomorrow, ALL...

-@all members: As of recently, there has been a trend whereby minor name updates of Trains/Stations - whether such and such regional name should be there or not, whether the train should be called "Abc Express" or "Abc Superfast Express", etc. are threatening to take over the majority of Timeline entries. Also,...
