According to new Rules, refund is 25% from 48 hrs upto 6 hrs before "scheduled departure of train". Does it mean, departure from my boarding station or departure from originating station of the train?

We have received some feedback that the "Nearby Stations" list in the Home Page may be removed if it is not serving any purpose.
This is a survey request to all for further feedback. Should the "Nearby Stations" column be removed from the Home Page? Is anyone using it or not using it? This survey will be there for 2 days. If enough assenting comments are not received the right-hand "Nearby Stations" column will be removed from the Home Page.

How does Tatkal Waiting Proceed with respect to General Waiting.
Let me explain:
Pune Mumbai train has 96 tkts reserved for tatkal and 960 general tkts.

But if i ignore RAC for a moment,
I get a doubt whether tatkal waiting progresses ONLY when tatkal cancels?

I am a Ram, a poor man, and i have WL#2 (General)

Thanks for being patient with me but i am still not convinced.
When i said 100 cancellations, i meant 100 cancellations in General and 0 cancellations in tatkal.
(If there are 0 cancellations in tatkal, does that mean that neither Sham nor any of his friends will get confirmed ticket? If that is the case, where is the preference stuff. Ram has a ticket and Sham doesnt. There is no preference)

Oh, i see your point now.
If progressively tickets gets cancelled, general has higher chances of confirmation..
If there are lots of available tickets at the time of charting, tatkal has higher chances of confirmation
