Blog Posts by Jampal Page# Showing 1 to 8 of 8 blog entries hi all, enjoying in goa. Today i seen a Ro Ro before madgaon station. I am going on a bike to palolem beach and spotted it. Now time for dinner with madeira and goan fish-mackerel- curry with rice. must be heavily raining. Be careful when you drive on the Karmali ghat on the way to Palolem thought that of going to vasco da gama, but i missed the route and went deep forest where no one is there. Came back in the same route to where i am staying which is colva beach. The monsoon is making me crazy, who said it is not a right time. I heard that Palolem beach is near to Cancanoa? All 2s coaches are shining. So from what time i can stand near the door to enjoy the scenice hills and ghat section in this route? rolling backwards, means i thought that it moves in forward position. Now my seat is facing back. Tte checked the ticket. Nice cooling, bought some idly for breakfast, only idlies the are selling at ypr. is it a a/c express? Had seen a western railway rajdhani colored rake came from ahmadavad to ypr Yes , it an AC express, it uses the old rajdhani rakes. yes. there is a weekly AC express plying between ADI-YPR. Have a nice journey Come Arasikere,you will not face this problem. the train name is ypr- karwar, but the announcement came as karwara express, i thought it will be caled as like that. It crossed the city limits and stopping at some station after chik bavanar, it stopped for 3 mts at that station too. can i get bread omlete or something like aloo parantha ther? arrived at Tumkur, so much crowd waiting to board this train.  leaving Tiptur, stopped here for ,ore than 5 mts. very good train destination board. again idly at ariskerey junction. But this time they are in plum cake sized and tastier than before at ypr. Mint and chana dal chutney, very good, now i turned to idly maniac. passneger info information board at ariskerey.Mr Jampal, these idlies are specifically called 'Tatte idly'' literally meaning plate idlies. thanks for the name of these idlies. Nice to know that you are traveling in 16515 , let come Sakleshpur and you will be in a green paradise for a good 2-3 hours in lush green virgin forests sandwiched between Bisele and Shiradi ghats .. dont miss capturing the KJM triplets attached at SKLR and all the curves and tunnels , tunnel 9,10,11, 12 will have some valleys and a scary viaduct ..have a nice journey !!!! Between how was your journey from Vikarabad to Yeshvantpur? it was ok. I enjoyed today a lot almost 50 tunnels, lush green, tempting weather, nice co passengers. It was a perfect journey, i will sahre some pics with youall  a sample pic, i had taken so many pics.almost 15 to 20 ltrs of diesel was wasted while refilling to goc wdm locomotive now at majn. Careless, and negligence by the staff, they left the leaking pipe without covering it wasted this amount of fuel. But I booked it when it was AVbl, ....but due to some railway tech probs, this is happening..... Sir it might be showing as WL/AVLBL.. This means tickets went into waitlist but came back to available.. So u have a confirmed ticket and seat number will be provided during chart preparation.. But in my case, i am a one pax. and they didnt given my number. No, since 6 pm its showing like AVBL, so i moved to near by PRS while the IRCTC was down. then i got like this. i am expecting some useful information from the most senior members of this site. Even if it shows as avlble it means that it was jumpd from WL status to AVLBL befre u booked d seat...say some of the cnfd tkts would hv been cancld so u got as cnfd seat... Once the tickets get into WL.. they wont alot that particular cancelled seat to another WL tkt.. lot of permutations and reasons are there why this does not happen... Dear Mr. Jampal, In the reservation system, when all the seats are exhausted it extends to WL. After that , if there are some cancellations then it becomes WL/Available. The WL 1 person would be having the ticket with status WL 1/ WL 1. If there are some cancellations then the next booking would be Conf / WL 2. The next booking may be WL 1 / WL 3 so on. The cancelled seat cannot be directly allotted to the next person as it has to be allotted to WL / WL 1 person, who has already got his printed his ticket and has left the counter. So all the cancellations after booking process entering the WL status can and are allocated only at the time of chart preparation. The booking status had reached waiting list 9 for the next who booked. But because of cancellation, seats became available when you booked the ticket. As this availability is not the original status but only the current status, therefore the system treated the booking as if an wl ticket was getting booked. The Alarm promptly rang at 7.10 AM and it was set in order to venture the PRS booking.. Thats when the idea struck.. I asked my brother to carry his laptop along with me to the PRS at PGTN.. Also you can board the same from Vikarabad itself. Only problem will be reaching destination as you may have to get down at UBL/LD/BGM from where not much connecting trains are there to Goa. If you are ready to go by bus, this is the best option. tomorrow, i should leave from here and start my journey to goa. Can i miss something if i go by bus. i love nature, i like konkan region.
