for this fare hike better cud be 1st 25% at base fare ., then 4 slabs of 10% at 10% xtra fare ., & remaining 35% at dynamic fares ., so that 1/4th do not pinch any body and for next 40% railways make 20% xtra provided train is 65% full ., and then see for dynamic + tatkal or even premium tatkal

sir why should this 35% pay acc to dynamic fare.
People here prefer Raj because of there fast connectivity but raj ka ab wo auda nhi raha jo pehle tha.
ab to mahabodhi express ki avg bhut si rajdhani se jyada h aur speed raj k equal to why one should pay extra fares.
inki rajdhaniya koi 200 kmph par to chalti nhi jo

avg food k alava, food k paise dete h passengers koi ehsaan nhi kara railway ne.

CNB - NDLS is last leg of the journey hence slack. also from Chipyana buzurg to NDLS speed is not consistent

sir when gatimaan now a reality + talgo coming in some time thus rajdhani reducing 2 hrs is nothing big ., and similarly super-fasts to reduce 2-3 hrs in 1900 kms route like hwb-cstm/ltt/adi etc poorva to reduce 2 hrs kalka which in 70's was 22 hrs now 25+

You are right trains can be speeded up by reducing slack time but at the same time IR needs to take care of freights which are cross subsiding passenger fares and also the signalling systems needs to updated at every junction. In am from Visakhapatnam and when Janmabhoomi exp leaves @615 there ate freights waiting at outer to join mainline and after passing 20-35 km it has to wait for clearance of ongoing freight to get to loop.

Why don't the rlys cancel it for 1 trip. Wasting their resources and simply torturing the passengers at boarding point as well as enroute. It will arrive anvt late tomorrow and then once again rescheduled departure and this will continue for the whole next week.
