Railway should have had put extra trains for diwali time for bangalore to kolkata..so many people are having problem regarding this..railways,plz take inititaive apart from just fare hikes..
i had booked a tatkal e-ticket from ypr to hwh in ypr-hwh duronto,it was in wl 36 till 8:50,chart preparation time is 9:15,so I thought it won't get confirmed & the cancelled money would return to me automatically,bt I don't know how the tikcets got confirmed & now I'll have to file TDR as I didn't board..Can you guys tell me how much money I'm going to get back?

Farhan Ansari 37 blog postsTravelled in the Sleeper Class on 20th Sept.. The Coach condition was less than average. Toilets were very stinky I must say at first, although there was a care taker being alloted for it but he only managed to remove the dust & stink of the walking section & the passages of the boogie.
So the coach condition, very noisy, dusty, and noddy (when the train travels fast). Food-Egg, Egg & Egg,you'll get only this if you've opted for non-veg section.. Egg Curry with dal,rice & roti along with pickle(the best part) and curd.. Everything was decent as you can expect from a railway lunch & dinner but the other day, the food taken from Renigunta,rice was of poor quality, dal tasteless....

Isn't there any special Puja train running in between Bengaluru & Kolkata? as b'coz as soon as YPR-Hwh Duronto ticket booking was opened,the tickets were vanished wih in few mins
The dynamic brake resistor of the WAP4 was inside the cabin when it was intially made, then later the resitors where shifted to the top of the loco and these locos whose dynamic brake resistor where shifted to the top where called WAP4E. Later they shifted DBR of all the locos to the top and this class was abolished as all the WAP4s have thier DBR on its top.
