18623 shares same route till Nsc bose J gomo.. after that it follows two different routes.. one route to rnc and other to brka.... little confused how a single train goes on two different routes.. the same day at the same time... does the rakes get separated ??

The rake bifurcates into two. 18623 and 18623-slip. That's why such long halt at GMO!!!

All it requires is one extra rake from Northern Railways to make this train regain its lost punctuality!!! how difficult is providing one ICF rake for such a huuge zone.... Utter negligence!!

When it will be LHBfied?
I travelled in this train train, i travelled in C7, and that particular coach was refurbished. Plush new seats (still not that comfortable), Wash Basin was had new mirror and ceramics, flooring was re-done.
Which clearly means IR has no plans to use LHB coaches for this train in near future.
Sad.

anyone has any latest news regarding same.
PS: 3 shatabdi's between NDLS-CDG and all 3 have LHB coaches despite of hardly 250 km journey. Whereas this train travels almost 900 kms in a day, and still uncomfortable seats for the one side 6 hr+ journey.
