Click to open. last month i travelled in this train from ambala cantt to NDLS. And i tell you it was one hell of a journey for me. Since it was april first half so it wasnt that hot, but these days general coach will be smoking like Tandoor. Or do one thing, take general ticket and pay rs.50 to TTE for a seat in SL till ndls, and have safe n pleasant journey. . PS: even after boarding from Ambala i was on the door till mohri and shahbad markanda, only after continous shouting i managed to squeeze in. Horrible experience. Oops i was hoping that this train will give me a wonderful journey but after reading the comments i am afraid.. so can u suggest me is there any other option to reach to NDLS tomorrow? KSK being a newbie is giving a tough time to Legend TN, and most interesting point is they both share 60% of the route so comparisons between both becomes natural and inevitable. Most of the times, 12951 gets delayed vy an avg of 5 to 10 mins due to congestion, so just in case.... Great TT... MTJ can be excluded from the list. GWL can be added to the list. Yes it takes same time for 8 kms, but it is speed restrictions, line mot clear and and bypassing from main sc line and taking loop line to kcg and then joining kcg line takes so much of time.Well i just wrote 4-5 process in that 8kms which this train has to follow and any damn train wud tak equivalent time to dothese critical changeovers. SUPER FUN Sorry guys, couldn't update timely statuses of the trip courtesy my 6 month old boy, with whom I was busy playing with. Crossed Dli Azadpur now approaching Subzi Mandi. Stopped at Sabzi Mandi. So as always half of the train emptied here. Now moving towards NDLS. TRIP HAS ENDED. Trip has Ended. Awesome journey. In between it covered 190 kms in 2 hrs with an avg speed of 95. 190 kms in 2 hrs that too in delhi nct is amazing...  It took approx 2 hrs & 38 mins for UMB-NDLS Journey!!At some instances TE shows wrong info and at some instances it reflects bang on correct time. For eg, we departed UMB at 2037 and it crawled till 2045 by then covering only 2-3 kms. But TE shows here we departed UMB on time, and that is wrong. And you can see my post when it stopped at SZM at 2243, and SZM is hardly 3-4 kms before NDLS and we also crawled for good 5-7 mins post UMB so assuming while crawling we would have covered same 3-4 kms. And UMB-NDLS is 200 (approx) exact is 198 or 199 dont remember. So you can make out we started to actually have...
