we are 6 people travelling from MAO to MAJN on this train in SL. how will be the crowd in SL . will there be any UR passengers also travelling?

it runs with less than 40 pc occupancy between mao and majn.so dont worry

ItsMePK^~ 16294 blog postsi thought the West Coast Rail Yathri Development Committee was asking this for a extn to MAQ but they have asked it for SBHR.. Its a nice move though... At the same point i am wondering why no development requests have been put forth by them for MAJN.

creating bulb line and every train fro keral entering maq will simply waste the time and would congest the alread small maq which has just 3 platform.In my opinion trains to chennai,kerala must start from maq an trains via konkan must start from majn

Looking at the CC of this train iam confused with HB1.
Is it 3A cum 1A?. If it is so it would be a special coach. I haven't seen one in any of southern rail zones.
Does NWR posses such coaches?

Yes if its extended to kcvl via ktym the train will run with 100 pc occupancy on almost all days

it will have excellent patoangelike netravati if extended to trivandrum via kottayam with 60 percent quota for kerala

Timings can be tweaked so as to depart MAJN at 17:00 and reach CSTM at 07:00.
In the return direction it can leave CSTM at 18:00 to reach MAJN at 08:00.

The current timings are just perfect ppl can reach cstm before 5 so ppl can reach home without much traffic block.The timings are just perfect for gaon who travels every eekend in this train
In the return direction if it departs at 6 pm it will reach madgaon at inconvinient time where almost 75 percent of the passengers get down.And also it will b difficult for the people to board this train after their office hours,,
I think Madgaon deserves a convient timing than majn if we are taking passengers in account .Presently...

yes it should reach mangalore before 12:30 so that ppl travelling towards kerala can take chennai mail or maq tvc express
Most of the passengers travelling in this train gets down at goa and many passengers getting down at majn usually takes connecting train to kerala.Mangaloreans usually prefer matsyagandha.80 percent of the passengers travelling in this train are from goa and kerala

New train between mumbai and mangalore wont materialize soon as the 2 trains are not running in high waitinglist but ofcourse there will be new trains between kerala and mumbai which mangaloreans can use
