waaaaahh. Thats really creditable.
Some 2 years back, when everybody in forum was expressing their views about new trains from their area, this similar train crossed my mind, although on a different route. It was from Nagpur-Nanded-Kurduwadi-Solapur-Vijaypur-Gadag-Hubli-Madgaon-Mangalore.
My premise was this is a hinterland route, with very less trains. Even if there is less traffic from end to end, it will serve the intermediate stations, which otherwise dont get proper connectivity. Also it would serve people of inner ares to get Goa connectivity.

Hello All,
I travelled from 11140 GDG-CSMT exp from Solapur to Mumbai on 4/9/19. I had a confirmed ticket. The train departed on time, but later short terminated at Daund station. Other trains like Hussainsagar, Chennai Mumbai Exp, Siddheshwar Exp were short terminated at Pune, because of sudden closure of Pune Mumbai section, due to heavy rainfall.
I have also recd an SMS on 6/9/19, from Railways/IRCTC about short termination at Daund.

You can take 17021 Hyd Vasco exp or 17603 KCG-Vasco Slip train to Madgaon. From there you have trains to Murdeshwar/Bhatkal. Few trains stop at Murdeshwar, while almost all stop at Bhatkal which is near to Murdeshwar. This route is beautiful & to be enjoyed by travelling in day time. Also you can see the majestic Dudhsagar waterfall from train, as is passes slowly, by travelling in the the slip train. You'll however have to manage timings of trains, to see these natural beauties.

I travelled by Telangana exp From Hyd to Chandrapur on 4/6/19 & return by same train, same stations on 6/6/19 in 3 AC.
The train I would say is best. Cooling was very good even in scorching temperatures of around 47 degC. Pantry service was proper, although it starts about 45 min after departing SC. We took Veg cutlet, upma vada, Aloo bonda (vada). The Lunch from pantry was quite good in serving & taste for Rs.90/-. It was not spicy, but a tad less than medium spicy.
