-----------AN INTERESTING YUVA JOURNEY---------
.
‘Yuva Express’ as we call it, had been one innovative, but an unsuccessful experiment of the Indian Railways. Such was the magnitude of the failure that there could be no more, and the two introduced initially are only kept alive by the heavy rush on their respective routes. There are plenty more reasons, and have been discussed umpteen times. So I would rather get to my report than trying to repeat things no one is interested in.
.
My brother was supposed to appear in an entrance exam on 8th June and the plans were to return on the same day. This train, as always, served as a valuable

last option for us. After encountering a scorching summer day, we arrived NZM pretty early as we had nothing else do. My brother blamed it on my new found habit of ‘collecting’ pictures of trains, but little did he knew that the heat had left me as much interested in Rail Fanning as him. We had a nice lunch at Comesum and made our way to platform 7 where Goa Express stood with pride. Soon, she glided away on her scheduled time, revealing an array of WAPs which would drop the jaws of any railfan. My only RF activity of the day was hence catalysed and I again withdrew myself to the bench.
.
Around 3:20 a BRC WAP-4E 22209 quietly pulled in with the rake and all my hopes of it getting a white beast that day were dashed. Small space overhead for keeping luggage in the train only meant that there was going to be a stiff competition between those travelling with big bags to get in the train quickly and ensure that their baggage was in place. We moved inside swiftly by the virtue of our small backpacks and sat on our seats peacefully. Amidst all the chaos, two loud voices, one of a male and other of a female, were heard exchanging abuses. A little inquiry from other passengers enlightened us about it. The girl had slapped the boy believing him to be a serial eve-teaser. The haste to board the train probably gave birth to this misunderstanding. However, their prudence got better of them as they decided to abandon the issue. But there were more shocking things to follow.
.

OK,so after reading many stories on this site,I wish to pen down my own travel story.Any questions, comments and opinions are appreciated.
The route which was covered on this trip was MUMBAI DELHI JAMMU KASHMIR JAMMU DELHI MUMBAI.Ours is a family of three and we tour every diwali.
Coming to the trip,We had decided to visit kashmir and so tried to book tickets in Swaraj,Rajdhani and AK rajdhani express but all were wait listed above 350.So fortunately got confirmed reservations in the 9005 special rajdhani. My coach was A2 and it was a duronto livery and I was very much excited as I wanted to travel in a duronto coach. The train had arrived an hour before its journey on pf 5 at BCT.So my dad and me got to our berths and managed our

luggage.I saw BCT JAIPUR express departing from pf 1 and Avantika was on pf 3.Both the trains departed right time and I went to see my trains loco which was a WAP 4,wasn't able to notice the shed.Came back to my compartment and we departed 5 minutes late. The coach was clean and tidy. The train got momentum as soon as it left lower parel and crossed dadar at around 70kmph.Went good till bandra then got slow and ran with an average speed of 30kmph till borivali.Soup with bread stick and butter was served at andheri.Reached borivali with a delay of 20 minutes on pf 4.Lokshakti express was at pf 6 and i was upset as I thought Lokshakti wold delay our train further but our train was given preference and left before lokshakti.Food was served after bhyander which consisted dal,pulav,2 parathas, chicken curry, salad and a vegetable. At virar ice creams were served. The train was doing good till virar but then got slow and was given signal after every 20 minutes.Even my dad was surprised as he thought it would run as fast as the normal rajdhani.Crossed Vapi at 60 kmph and then again signals. But I was shocked that it reached surat 10 minutes before time at 23:50.Started surat at 00.05 and did an average of 85kmph till vadodara. Then i slept and woke up at Ratlam at 6.15am.Got down at pf 5 and heard an announcement that BCT ASR golden temple was running on time and would arrive at 7am.Left Ratlam and i wanted to see Nagda skip but felt asleep.Got up at 9am and breakfast was already kept on the food table. It consisted milk powder, small pack of marie biscuits, dip tea and coffee, jam, butter, kachori, cheese bread, and sonpapdi.Train was doing good speed though it had few small halts.Reached kota on time.Got some magzines to read and dad being book fanatic was with his book the entire journey.Mom was on the upper berth.Reached sawaimadhopur and halted for 20 minutes just after departing sawaimadhopur.I heard many people saying,"KYA SLOW AUR BAKWAAS TRAIN HAI".Then food was served the same as previous night and then had a nap of one hour.Got up at MATHURA,got down and felt too sweaty due to the october heat. The same breakfast was served with frooty and the train crossed many stations like kosi kalan, palwal, ballabgarh at more than 90kmph.Delhi Mumbai rajdhani crossed us at MPS and 20 minutes or so,AK rajdhani crossed us.Got slow as Nizamuddin arrived and many people were on the door with their luggage as they thought that it would halt at NIZAMUDDIN but to their dismay it skipped Nizamuddin, just at Tilak bridge saw howrah rajdhai express making its way to Howrah.Went to the doors and peeped out to see the curve at NDLS.The train got on to pf 2,5 minutes before time.
Hope u like my travel experience. My next destination was delhi to pathankot which would be narrated later

Trip Report of my First First AC Ride
This was a much awaited journey ever since my first Rajdhani travel i.e. from Std. 7. I had to request my dad everytime while planning to go to Kerala to allow me to book in First AC. After innumerous requests, he finally agreed to allow me, following which, I booked a First AC ticket in TVC Rajdhani from TCR to BSR for 4th of June. But, due to my cousin's engagement in Mumbai on 2nd of June, I had to prepone my ticket to 31st of June. The ticket was waitlisted at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 being my father, mother, brother, aunt and myself. After about a month from booking, two of the tickets got confirmed, which was a sigh of relief. On the day of journey, I was surprised to
