Nowadays, IRCTC mentions on their website about call verification of the recently booked tatkal ticket. Users may receive call asking for the booking details from IRCTC. If any of the details are not provided correctly to them, they may cancel your ticket. Has any of IRI members received such verification calls? I am eager to know what do they ask? it was implemented a long time ago, i think the call was to made by IRCTC for the bookings done between 10:00 am to 10:15 am to verify userid, pnr, passenger mobile number and passenger details. but i have also not seen anyone who has ever received a call, many of my friends did tatkal but not a single has received a call Yes. I haven't also remember any such incident reported by any of my friends or on IRI.
