After nearly 2.5 yrs I had an opportunity to travel to Patna and nearly 2 months back I booked my ticket (including return) in Patna Rajdhani. My coach was assigned B2, side lower birth near the door. I post my train journey here:
I arrived NDLS around 4:50 PM to see a long queue to scan bags and enter the station. I chose the end of Ajmeri Gate entry knowing that B2 coach is at the behind of rake. PNBE Rajdhani was already placed at PF 13 and I entered my coach B2. The train was full with passengers. I was shocked to see Sampoorna Kranti placed at PF 12. I knew that it is placed on PF 16.

at 5:20 PM PNBE Rajdhani started its journey. Mineral water was served along with snacks having Kachouri, Sandwich, Lemon juice, Son Papdi and a mixture packet. Dinner was very bad with almost no taste, at 8 PM. We arrived Kanpur at 10 Pm sharp with Pushpak Express leaving PF 1 with WAP 7. Sharp at 12 AM it arrived Allahabad. We met Duronto entering Allahabad and 12309 Patna-NDLS Rajdhani met near Yamuna bridge. We crossed Mirzapur sharp at 1 AM arriving MGS at 2 PM. Bhagalpur NDLS SuperFast enetred with WAP 4 and immediately Dehradun-HWH Doon Express arrived with WDP 4 on adjoining platform.
At 4 AM I woke up to see as where we have arrived and we crossed danapur at full speed, within 10 mins crossed Phulwari Sharif and within 10 mins, sharp 4:20 AM arrived Patna junction. It broke previous record when I arrived Patna at 4:45 AM.
Observations:
1. Temperature control of 23-24 degree is maintained in all coaches which makes it lot warm and unbearable. You don't get blanket anymore.
2. food served in 3 AC coach has really degraded in terms of quality.
3. It is now mixture of Swarna coaches and non Swarna coaches. My coach was a Swarna coach with Vinyl interiors

का रखरखाव आसनसोल में ही होना है.. रेलवे के हिसाब से भी ये मुनाफे का सौदा होगा.. विदित हो कि पूर्व में भी सासाराम आनंदविहार गरीबरथ का रेक गया से चलकर सासाराम जाता था और ट्रेन वहाँ से आनंदविहार टर्मिनल तक चलती थी, दूसरा उदाहरण पोरबन्दर मोतिहारी एक्सप्रेस और आनंदविहार मोतिहारी गरीबरथ का भी है जिसे अंततः मुजफ्फरपुर तक बढ़ा दिया गया..
उधर धनबाद के MP पशुपति नाथ सिंह भी सम्पूर्ण क्रांति को 2 दिन वाया धनबाद चलवाने की मांग कर रहे हैं..

I wanted to post my short journey trip from Delhi Safdarjung to Agra on 18th Feb:
1. I booked 3 tickets from Delhi Sadarjung to Agra Cantt. I got a little late while arriving station and by the time I reached Safdarjung station, train arrived at PF 1 with WAP 4 Loco sharp at 12:54 PM. My seat was at S4 coach.
2. Train moved slowly till meeting point near Okhla. Train picked up speed post meeting the main line but had unscheduled halt at Tuglabad. Train was then full of unreserved passengers....

3. Coach was in bad condition especially Toilets. Train continued at decent speed and overtook Utkal before Mathura.
4. Train got full of local passengers travelling at Mathura. Train arrived sharp at 4:20 PM at PF 1 of Agra station.
Observation:
1. Their was no TTE checking from DEE to Agra. I was feeling foolish having bought reservation at all. It is wiser to board the train and if required get the ticket made on the spot. It may so happen that you will travel unreserved.
2. This train is like a Passenger train wid all local passengers between DEE to AGC. So don't fight for your berth.
3. Sleeper coaches really need a makeover. They have started looking near general coaches with broken sockets, toilets, poor cleaning. It feels that Railway is only focusing on AC coaches, Rajdhani, Shtabtdi, Tejas, Gatiman etc.

Yesterday Sunday 28 January 2018, 12397 was rescheduled to depart at 5 pm from it's right time 2:20 pm, from Platform no. 3.
General UnReserved coaches were in front side & AC coaches were at last.
