Since KCVL is just a few kms from TVC, there is no need to stop all trains at KCVL except passenger trains. KCVL has a lot of trains starting/ terminating and as such the capacity is enough. The allocations now being made by RB is too less to carryout developmental works at KCVL and hence only one PF functions.... ... Read more... Reason: Shreesanth Express charges Rs. 10 lakh for one delivery (6 deliveries = 60 lakh) while for a RO RO rake with 40 trucks is 40 x Rs 20000 avg cost per truck = Rs 8 lakhs. The cost is more when considering the misnomer "express."
