I have booked a tatkal ticket on line thru irctc website and made payment through debit card and the status is CKWL 2 / CKWL 2,PNR is 4352375583.
(1) When will i know whether the ticket is confirmed.
(2) If i cancel will will i loose the total amount.

I had booked on line thru irctc website, when booking it was showing 2 berths available, when i proceeded for payment thru credit card and after the payment was done I was surprised to see that no berth number was given and status was
W/L 2 CK, I am unable to understand. Please inform whether it is confirmed ticket or it is wait listed as i do not want to take chances also analyze PNR, and predict the final Charting Status. Thanks.

can we book tatkal ticket online if so what are the timings and how many days in advance and do we have to upload our id proof . also if debit card can be used. are tgere any extra charges for tatkal and online booking charges
