This is reasonable wish .
Bcoz if seen the stopes Rajahmundry to Vijayawada Distances is 177and 6 stops and distance between Vijayawada to Kazipet is 217 Kms there is no stop similarly from VSKP to Rajahmundary 200 kms not stop. is this Fare ?

When VSKP is with SER, its always used to get respect and also some useful trains. So never has issues. But from last 10 years VSKP losing so much many things which actually its share.

We have experience that even same state zone ignores some of it's same state areas.
And Zone have staff from all corners of country.
With VSKP the problem aggravated due to it's borderline situation and poor handling of grievances.
And making DVD alternate stop for VSKP is worst decision.

also CRS must give 130 certificate.
Following points must be considered ---
MAS GDR trial has been done at 140 so atleast 130 should be allowed there
And there was
talks of High speed train on BPL JHS...So 130 should be allowed there as well...
This will make this train speed UPto 70kmph

VSKP is fighting for a separate zone.please dont c ppl of visakhapatnam as ones creating controversies.living here v know the pain.
to go to bengaluru no proper train. to go to tirupathi only one proper daily (slow) express,that too of SCR.
godavari,GR,DRNT,VISAKHA all these trains connectng vizag to former capital HYD are of SCR.
the population of vizag is about 20,00,000 and the home
zone gives only 2 proper daily trains to us.
(only proper daily trains of ECoR from VSKP is janmabhoomi and may b 18519(that too odd timings). all others are weeklys.)
if the population ratio is not maintained, dont the people have a right to question?
our problem is not BBS/PURI/anythng else.... all vizagites problem is we are not getting required trains. this is no personal fight between any region, v r not divided,please maintain the population ratio thats it.
In another 5-10 years people will know importance of VSKP. By then new zone will come. and no more difficulties to us!!
If a fellow RF cant understand our pain how will a govt understand.

विसाखपट्नम Visakhapatnam (VSKP): Route rationalisation introduced by Railway Board through its notification on April 1, in 2011 has turned out to be a big bane for export and import cargo operators from Visakhapatnam.
Appeals by several operators to see reason in their demand to end circuitous route to reduce handling cost as well as time for dispatch of various commodities have so far not yielded any results. Incidentally, the policy might have filled the coffers of the Railways but led to growing preference to alternate ports like Krishnapatnam and Paradeep by the port users.
told The Hindu that all cargo from Visakhapatnam including all marshalling yards Vadlapudi, Jagayyapalem, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Visakhapatnam and Gangavaram Ports are forced to transport via Duvvada-Balharshah route instead of Titlagarh-Raipur, which is closer by 300 km. It is putting an additional burden of around Rs.5 lakh per train from Viskhapatnam to Delhi and vice versa.
“Incidentally, for sending cargo to Raipur, we are forced to route it through Nagpur and Raipur, a distance of 1,200 km instead of Vizianagaram-Titlagarh section, which is just 550 km,” said Sravan Shipping Services Managing Director G. Sambasiva Rao.
The worst-hit due to the policy is Visakha Container Terminal, which is considered one of the deep-drafted all-weather container berths with a plan to expand it with an investment of Rs.633 crore.
“The Railways is forcing us to route out cargo through certain designated places putting a heavy burden on us. Increase in landing cost of coal is also pinching hard the consumers by increasing power tariff. To put a full-stop to the problem, electrification work of second track between Raipur-Titlagarh lane should be expedited,” Visakhapatnam Stevedores’ Association president Krishna Kumar said.
Following several representations from the shipping industry, the Ministry of Shipping has decided to set up a committee to monitor railway infrastructure so as to remove bottlenecks faced in ensuring faster evacuation of cargo.
