You can do upto one day before ( I think before chart preparation). Please carry your ticket and ID proof and contact reservation counter. Happy journey. i am having ticket for (4 members) to travel by train no. 16508 on 21st jan '13. as there is a fare increase is it necessary to pay the different amount from the counter or it is possible to pay the difference while travelling. You don't need to pay any extra fare while travelling, as the increased fares will be in force from 22nd Jan. 2013 as per latest info.
