The train was towed to Kodarma at 10 AM by a diesel engine. Train operations resumed on the main down line at 2 PM after the traction wire was repaired. Several trains, including the Asansol MEMU, 12988 Ajmer Sialda, 12365 Janshatabdi Express, and 18428 Anand Vihar Express, were delayed due to the incident.
