RailwayFiles~ 246 blog postsHello all, i have to book sleeper class ticket from Warangal to Villupuram for 4-5 passengers. Even for the farthest bookable date the number of tickets available in all the trains are very very few like only around 10 - 12 tickets are available, even in 3rd and 2nd ac its the same case. Why is the quota so less ? I tried checking from Nagpur still its same, from Vijayawada almost same scenario, my concern is if i book the ticket as the availability is so less i might get berths at different places. Any suggestions, among the 4 people i am the only guy other 3 are my mom and her sisters around 50-55 years of age, it would be best if all 4 of us can get near by berths or next to next. Go ahead and book this off. You'll mostly get seats in the same bogie. If not, ppl will adjust. I don't think any other train has more chances for you.
Also, I don't think quota is reduced after April 22nd , it looks like tickets are booked more for the next dates, that's all.

End to end GNWL quota is anyday more. Wherever the trains may originate and terminate. This particular train I told cos of capital connection, thats all.
Book from WL to VPM you still have 23 avbl. They will be alloted in the coach only 90% chances so go book it now. If it turned Waitlosted you will get I'm different coaches.
Base to base. This time with Pride of SCR.

SM can be done anywhere at SBC or CAPE. All indications that these 3 RSA might be on the cards
Not a good arrangement beyond saving a rake. The Island Exp rake at CAPE could be used for a new overnight service now that MDU-NCJ is FEDL.
Also there is a more prudent option to operate 17235/6 using Island's rake thereby freeing up Seshadri's rake at SMVB to operate a different service.

If Island goes to SR, SWR can insist to start from SBC at earlier schedule so that it reaches CAPE by morning and return leaves CAPE after Sunset. Will benefit lot
SR SWR should think of a SF between SBC to RMM via SA TPJ and SA MDU (tri weekly each).
Also, ONT between SBC and KIK via KPD TNM VM MV.
