Currently 12017/18 NDLS DDN Shatabdi is being run by push pull mechanism. Will it's stoppage be reduced at SRE now considering scheduled halt of 35 mins? Just asking if someone can share.

Yes as Saharanpur provides a good chunk of passengers to this train NR has not diverted it via Tapri Bypass like other trains(Janshatabdi,Nanda Devi etc). Also at Saharanpur when LC is done main line is blocked on both 3/4,5 platforms.It will help in reducing delays also.

If 12017/18 is running with puss pull technique then they dont need reversal .. so stoppage timing can reduced to 5 min.

Which is your most travelled route since 2013 among these with mentioned conditions and classes of accomodation? ASR/DLI LDH should be edited as/ read as ASR LDH. All Non AC coaches like Non AC Sleeper, Non AC Second class (both reserved and unreserved) are NOT eligible. If by AC Chair Car (Not Garib Rath or Yuva type or 3/3 seats in all or most of the rows each) of Shatabdi, Duronto, Gatiman, Tejas, Super AC or similar standard only and not of any other. .. If by Anubhuti, AC First, AC Executive Chair, AC 2 T, AC 3 T (Except Garib rath, Yuva. can vote for another station of same city/ urban agglomeration. If both ends of a journey are in UP then Ghaziabad passengers should vote for GZB and not for a station of Delhi - otherwise for Delhi. Gurgaon, Faridabad should vote for Delhi. Raniganj, Asansol are shown together. Passengers from stations around Panchkula town, SAS Nagar (Mohali) town can vote for CDG. All of these routes are connected by Shatabdi/ Shatabdi and Gatiman but other passengers also can vote as mentioned where nominated classes are not cheaper than Shatabdi AC Chair Car excluding catering charge (however there may be exception in first and initial few stages). Any station in Chandigarh, Panchkula, SAS Nagar (Mohali) to PNP could be included among the options. In my opinion railways should make future train sets with this coach composition 6 general class coaches including luggage loading capacity , 6 sleeper coaches , 8 ac class coaches ( which can include third ac or second ac or first ac or can be a mixture of these coaches ) and ( either 1 ac coach or 2 ac coaches can be removed to add pantry car coach and extra luggage coach ) so 6+6+8 total 20 and 2 electric locos ( 1 at front side of whole trainset and 1 at back side of the whole trainset ) so 20 +2 total 22 coaches , so that instead of giving lhb rakes to some trains which runs on a longer path railways should directly convert those mail or express or superfast express trains into these trains sets and cost of making lhb coaches will also be reduced or...

saved due to directly conversion of mail or express train into train sets and rake reversal time of many trains will be reduced cost of doing rake reversal of a train will also be reduced ( due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) and speed of all trains can be increased (due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) . Please give your opinion on this but please don't give any argument related to politics so that i can save my post from getting archived.

Or either railways can apply this coach composition in in some upcoming amrit bharat express trains so that we can get see that whether this coach composition for train sets will become a successful idea or will become waste idea.
