any alternative route bypassing the high speed sonpur division if I want to travel ALD KIR avoiding PNBE and SEE div. ? How is the Road connectivity to katihar ?
Road connectivity in Bihar is excellent.Take NH55 from Muzaffarpur 1 hr Darbhanga bypass from there 2 hrs Forbesganj via Bhaptiahi,forbesganj to Purnia max 1.5 hrs from Purnia to Siliguri NH31 via Dalkhola another 3 hrs no need to go Katihar via road.

#TrackReforms.... IR should kindly start arranging for alternate branch routes for ER trains to Delhi until the completion of the #EDFC within the next 1 year. The MGS-ALD 3rd Line will take some time to launch :-)
