Guess there is some misinterpretation of Zone to Division in the article...
Good news for Karnataka. A long standing demand. Kudos to Sri Kharge
On the one hand sometime back we had heard of the news that no further zones or divisions will be formed and now we hear that decision on new zone/division awaiting approval. Also similar news was heard from Vishakapatnam abt a new zone.
Railways have clarifed with regard to new divisons. The GR divison along with Jammu and another place in NE was announced in Interiam Budget 2014-15. Except this 3 divions,no new division and Zone may be formed as clarified by Railway Ministry
