5th and 6th line between BVI & VR should also be taken up along with the 5th and 6th line from BCT-BVI under implementation. Commuters beyond BVI have to face the worst conditions on Mumbai Suburban. Boarding a VR local during peak hours is a punishment in itself. about 20 yrs back the area northward of Dahisar was distinctly under-developed. But today scene has changed esp. between BVI & Bhayandar which probably IRlys/MRVC has not taken cognizance of. Else the 5th &6th line project from BCT should have been taken up to VR instead of BVI.
And Seriously do you think it's the solution? Not at all.....
Only a person living in this belt knows the real scene ....
Even if 5th and 6th line are added on BVI VR section, it won't have any affect as Beyond Andheri EMUs won't be added anymore.... Courtesy super congestion between Bandra and Churchgate and inadequate pfs at CCG, DADAR and Bandra to have any extra load....
