New line projects- Route kilometers indicated give a false indication. Bhimnath –Dholera is yet to start, Remaining two have very little portion in Gujrat and both are moving at snails pave since last 10 yrs and not even 40 kms is commissioned!
Many other projects also indicate substantial route length not falling in Gujrat.
Gujrat had been very unlucky in matter of railway facilities in the past. Only since last 2 years it is getting its reasonable share of goodies

Palanpur-Samakhayali (274.73 km) doubling project is amongst fast moving projects and should be completed sooner. Some sections have already been commissioned. In fact projects through out IRly network are being strongly expedited and commissioned like never before at the rate of 7km/day , thanks to PM & RM.
