Halt is required at satellite stations for every big city. It saves a lot of time for people to travel into the city to board the train, that too when the train passes through the station near them without halting there. We have been asking for halt at Yelahanka Station for may trains but Railways kept on telling the PF constraint, but now that it has 4 PF and work on 1 more is going on, we expected trains to stop there from this Oct, but Railways skipped it again.
However, I don't understand one thing about Duvvada, when some trains used to skip VSKP with a halt at DVD, there was an outcry that there is no proper connectivity to DVD

Duvvada is about 23 km from the main city which extends another 5-10 km radius. The industrial city is nearer to Duvvada at a distance of 5-7km steel plant township NTPC township are close by and they depend on this station rather then going to city which is 18-36km distance. When trains skip vskp getting to Duvvada is difficult for main city.

out of topic, I have to catch flight from VSKP. I will be arriving at the city by Samata Exp. I am planning to get down at Simhachalam Station as it is nearest to the airport. Does it have good connectivity to reach airport ?

Yes get down at simhachalam and take an auto to airport the distance is 4 km and pay him 100-150 max. Be sure there is enough of time gap as its peak hour traffic.
