Very good steps are being taken by IR/Govt to help the genuine paxs from the currency note shortage.
IR should announce that cancellation charges for all the tickets booked from 9-14 nov shall be 50% flat of ticket value. This will be an example of demand based flexi-cancellation charge very much like demand based flexi reservation charge!
If there is severe cash crunch in IR and more revenue is de-separately needed, then why not to extract huge profits from the rich hoarders of black money rather than profiteering from the bonafide, genuine and...
more... poor IR passengers through flexifare.
Only 6 days of such flexi-cancellation charge may give more profits than a full year of flexifare scheme!
Demonetisation of 500/- and 1000/- note is a great step, which an honest PM like Mr. Narendra Modi can take. If the next six months are well handled (not allowing any loopholes to get activated), the life is going to be much better for honest and poor Indian citizens. Whole world is closely watching and appreciating this step. If the situation is handled well, and our country gets benefited, our PM will be acknowledged as an undisputed leader of the world!!.
The stand taken by some section of Media/ politicians is surprising as they are just trying to highlight before the public, the difficulties being faced by the public just in-order to bring bad publicity, instead of helping them out. This shows their real intention and they very well know that an honest tax payer can deposit any amount of old currency note lying with him and pay any big amount for marriages etc. through cheque or through plethora of on-line options like credit cards, debit cards, pay wallets like pay-TM, free-charge etc. Only the shopkeepers dealing in white transactions shall be in a position to do business. While the ones totally involved in black transactions and not paying the legitimate taxes shall feel the pinch. It is for first time that the honest taxpayers are at advantage, otherwise the tax evaders were ruling the roost and minting money by hoarding goods with their black money and honest Indians were sufferers.
