Not really... When you have a GNWL ticket from Source to intermediate station confirmations do happen even at surprisingly high waiting. You can see quiet often in Purushotam, Uttar Sampark kranti for NDLS-CNB leg, you can also see JP-KOTA leg in Jaipur mumbai superfast
no in this, even WL 100+ to CNB also doesn't clear.... today is exception...
Since LKO is a intermediate station here and this falls under GNWL, the chances of confirmation are very high. In this case there are 40 odd seats under RLWL in LKO-DBG Leg of Journey. This technically would mean that those 40 seats would come vacant from NDLS or alloted to passengers under NDLS-LKO leg of journey. Now if there would have been more than 40 passengers from WL1-WL419 here this would not have confirmed. Looks a little lengthy explanation but i think this is how it works.
agreed, but why will 40 seats come empty.. they are included for NDLS LKO leg journey... the no. of seats for NDLS LKO are more than NDLS DBG..
