Railway Line to Dhanushkodi: Gettin' rid of the damn thorns: Back in 1914, they built a freakin' railway bridge over the Pamban Sea and started runnin' trains to Rameswaram. But shit hit the fan in 1932 when a storm messed up the train line from Rameswaram to Dhanushkodi, so they had to cancel that service. And then, in the goddamn storm of 1964, they had to stop the train service between Pomban and Dhanushkodi altogether. So basically, people had to rely on freakin' roads to get to Dhanushkodi since there was no train service. Then these railway big shots decided to check out the old railway line to Rameswaram and Dhanushkodi. And guess what? They found that the whole damn coast from Gothandramar temple near Dhanushkodi to Dhanushkodi was infested with oak trees and thorns. So now, the railway crew is usin' some heavy-duty equipment to clear that shit out.
