Chances are GOOD. This is borne out by the fact that when booking, your number is pretty low as compared to when the waitlist started, and there has been a rapid drop so far! Keep checking the PNR closer say 10 days before date of journey.. Best of luck and good wishes.

Again I differ. The sudden drop from booking status WL/104 to current WL/49 can not be set as a pattern which will follow repeatedly. May be the sudden drop bcoz of any group cancellation, or may be bcoz the Rlys decided to attach extra coach after the start of WL. In view of summer season, I am of the view that chances are good for RAC status and very much luck dependent. To be on safer side, you may try out booking a standby confirmed ticket or reasonably WL ticket in the summer spl train announced on this route. This will double up your chances and will feel ease and comforts till the journey date.

I think sudden decrease in WL is because of 2 SUMMER SPECIALS 0165 and 0167

The chances are not bright in view of summer holidays. There are one-two summer spls announced on this route and you go for a chance in that train. egs. Dadar - Kochuveli / 0167 and Dadar - Ernakulam / 0165. Chances may turn out to be good in case the CR announces extra coach attachement.

RAC 99 suggests you have a seat in hand-confirmation will only tell whether you get a berth or you travel sitting.

The chances are bright and calls for no worry. Wait for 5-6 weeks for re-checking the booking status. Anyway, right now also your tickets are semi confirmed in the sense that seats (not full berth) on sharing basis are assured. With the passing of time, bright chances that tikcets will acquire confirmed status.

Yes, it should be be confirmed by the end of the month. Certainly you will come into RAC. Then it will depend closer to the date of the journey whether you will get the berths. Let us see around 2nd April or on All Fool's Day (not joking with you) 1st April. You see people are booking vry much in advance because the cancellation charges are so low that it does not matter to people whether they lose only Rs 20 or Rs 100 generally! So stay on, and it should get confirmed. Good wishes.

Train #0215 Madgoan Ernakulam has still around 200 sleeper tickets avaliable. Better book for that. The train starts from MAQ at 21:30 and reashes MAJN (MANGALORE JUNCTION) at 03:00 It does not go to Mangalore central. This is a weekly train which runs on SUNDAYS.

fully agree with you , if not duronto atleast one more train to mangalore from Kurla

Cancel Ankola and Bijoor Stops.They are the useless stops given for this Garib Rath.Instead of that stops,you can give Mookambika Road/Kundapura and Bhatkal stops.

This train already stops at Ankola and it can be cancelled.But this train does not stop at Bijoor and Cancel the stop there for 2201/02 Garib Rath.

Yes. This has to be extended till Thiruvanthapuram. Atleast till Ernakulam or Shoranur for Passengers convinience.

No point of extension. There is already Netravathy and Garibrath from Trivandrum to Mumbai. Matsyagandha is for people from Mangalore. I dont think raileway will extend the train.

There is no point of extention. Matsyagandha train is only for Manglorians. Earlier there was no shortest route train services. The then Railway Minister has done a very good job. Poor people of mangalore had no other alternate to pay triple amount to the bus services to reach their native place. Now at least all of them could travel confirtably in Matsyagandha. So it is my request this train services should not be extended any further.

There is happy news for Mangaloreans Train No 2133/2134 is being exteded to Mangalore from February onwards. Any how 2619/2620 will not be extended beyond Mangalore.

Best solution is no need to extend any train beyond Mangalore, to start new train from Mumbai to Kozikode (4 days in a week i.e Mumbai -Karwar Train Is Triweekly,except these days this new train Can run without insult any region.)

It is Rs. 23 based on Indian Railways fare chart. But I think, you will pay more - around Rs. 30 - if you include other charges.

type the train number in the Train number tab and look for seat availability. you wil get tkt availability upto 90 days. do it yourself. its very easy. In case you do not know the train number, enter the destination to & from and look for the train you want and availability status. try it yourself.

First class facility is not available in this Train. 2nd AC costs around Rs. 581.

"Not available" may mean 3 things.
1. Either ticket is sold out.
2. It may also simply mean that tickets are not available because it is too much in advance (more than 5 days). Within the 5 day period, it may become available.
3. Tatkal facility is not available for your chosen pair of stations.
Tatkal tickets cannot be sold outside the 5 day period - you can be sure of that.

with so incomplete information provided by you its going to be a challenge to tell you anything. class of travel, points of travel ..... Come on atleast take some time and frame your question effectively.
