official IR site says that: * The Train 56204 has been renumbered as 56264, w.e.f. 20/12/2010.
56204 is chamrajnagar pass and 56263 is night queen pass to bangalore

I have seen this in PURI where 18414 and 18416 run together from PURI to CTC with 2 engines, one at the front and one at the back. At CTC they are separated and travel in different directions.

May be 56264 is made to run from MYS to CMNR after reaching Mysuru, it arrives @ 4am and may run as 56204 from Mysuru @7am...
56204, 56264 are given same train schedule of SBC -MYS .
actually 56204 runs between MYS and NTW and 56264 run between SBC and MYS. and From Mysore it become unreserved passenger train and run as 56204
