The fast train 12134 got treated like trash, waiting for about 2 hours because the Garib Rath 12201 was a whopping 7 hours late, and then the slowpoke 12620 Matsyagandha Superfast left before it. The latter had to chill for almost 50 minutes. Now, the 12134 will pass the 12620 in Karwar, making it even later. Shouldn't trains that are 7 hours late be taken off the main line and put into sidings to let the on-time ones through? That's why folks in Karnataka want Mangalore out of Southern Railways' control.

Kya nahi trains jo 7 ghante late hain unka slot nahi badalna chahiye aur on-time trains ko pass karne ke liye loops mein bhej dena chahiye? Isi wajah se Karnataka ke log SR se Mangalore ki aazadi maang rahe hain.

An EPIC and RARE OVERTAKE just went down, guys! 😱 So, here's the deal - our train was at a stop in Pernem, chillin', and then outta nowhere, this Goods train powered by WDG 4 pulls up on the loop track. We were like, "Ok, time to move," but no dice, we're still stuck at Pernem. Then, we notice the main signal turnin' green and what do we see? A mad OVERTAKE happening! 🚂 The ALCO engine of KR 12133 Mangalore SF zooms past us like a rocket, even though it left CSTM 2 hours and 5 mins later than us. Talk about a crazy run! Operated by Central Railways, the "Mangalore Express" runs daily between Mumbai and various cities in the state of Karnataka reaching Mangalore. On November 23, 2009, the then Railway Minister of the state, K H Muniyappa, showed a green flag to the superfast train running between Mumbai and Karwar in just three weeks. Seeing an increasing demand from passengers, the route of this train was extended to Mangalore and the train started running daily. Time to leave from Mumbai - 10:02 PM.
