Railway enthusiasts from every nook and corner of India along with the IR news/ information is the USP of IRI, which makes it different from plain IR news reading in news papers/ other sources. We should not hesitate to speak our minds and enrich our IRI brethren. Even if any slip-of-tongue occurs, it should not be an issue amongst us. They have started manufacturing Jan ChairCars again; spotted two new coaches (# SR WGSCZJ 16616 & 16617) in 12076/75 TVC CLT TVC JanSatabdi Express today. Coaches have bio-toilets & has only 103 seats, in comparison to older coaches having capacity of 106. Really glad to note that Jan Chaircars are back in production; still wonder why the reduction in number of seats.
Looking at the image and watching a bit of green,it's nice to see a bit of landscaping being done in a major station which is pretty much further down the priorities,i guess.It wouldn't be a bad idea to have 'Bonsai' plants which come in various colors and are eye pleasing,i think they can go a long way in adding beauty to a concrete covered surrounding which is pretty typical of most platforms in India especially the major ones.
I guess it should be a fair assumption that the 'Railway clock' runs a few notches behind. :) I guess,we don't feel the pain as much as a French or Japanese guy,i think those guys would be pretty shocked given that they are oblivious to the ground reality. :D:D:D
