Just like resently Bilaspur Rajdhani is Extended to Howrah from 1st. March 2009 THE NEW RANCHI-PATNA EXPRESS (JAN SATABDI EXPRESS) ANNOUNCED BY Hos.Rail.Minister Miss mamta banerjee is highly appreciated. but i want to say that this train should be extended upto Buxer Jn. Because earlier two trains from Ranchi to Patna is extended upto Islampur & Khagaria. So this new announced train from Ranchi to Patna should be extended upto Buzer Jn. If it happens, a lot many peoples of wetern Bihar will be benifitted. Hope my appeal will be accepted frm Hon.Rail Minister Miss Mamta Banerjee. thanks with regards. ajay kr. singh. @Sandeep: Oct 01 2009 (09:38PM) Better option now is to run an Intercity express type train daily from Buxar to Ranchi Via Ara, Bikramganj, Sasaram, Dehri on Sone, Garhwa, Daltonganj, Barwadih, Tori, Patratu, Ramgarh, Muri, or on construction of Lohardaga-Tori line, Via ARA, SSM, DOS, Garhwa, Daltonganj, Barwadih, Tori, Lohardaga. But God knows when Lohardaga-Tori line will be constructed???? (Pending due to Tunnel work) on construction of this line time between Ranchi to Dehri on Sone (Sone Nagar Jn.) will reduce by 3 hours and hence to reach Allahabad/Kanpur/Delhi or any other cities. Entry# 24608 Reply Add Bookmark Remove Post ![]() well freinds i need to tell one sad story about this rajdhani rakes expecially about south bound rajdhanis freinds yesterday i had seen this rajdhani rake its mixed with go kerala duronto and life insurance add in this rakes what a pity freinds all mumbai howrah patna bbs rajdhanis are running with new lhb rakes atleast railway authorities are not allowing south people to njoy view also rake is looking vey ugly with mixed rake like go kerala duronto life insurance adds what is this when will our south people fate change @first blogger: i though Kerala rajdhani had a new look featuring tourism in kerala and i thought the papers looked very picturesque. Did that change already or was it some other kerala bound train? Now as far as rajhanis to mumbai Hwh and pnbe are concerned, please note these are daily trains. The passenger volumes are high. As compared to this, rajshanis from the south run bi/ tri/quatro weekly. When a rake is designated as Rajdhani then it is a dedicated rake. And in case of south bound rajdhnis, on account of less frequencey the rake stays idle and as such optimum usage is not possible. I guess that is why you will see Mumbai, LKO, HWH ASR GHY, PNBE, Kanpur, HWH ADI have all got LBH rakes while south rajdhanis dont. So i guess its just a matter of priorities. Why issue a brand new rake and have it sit idle? Of course there are some political considerations as well, but then if you feel the south is treated unfairly, then you have Mr Ahmedh from kerala who is minister with the Railways. What is he doing? Just so you know, chennai, banglore /mysore Shatabdi has LBH coaches. You can take a ride on that and enjoy those. @anon: Mar 17 (11:51PM) what we can do with those shatabdhi its for day travel we want lhb shatabdhi and one more thing i need to tell you bangalore rajdhani runnig 4 days a week to and fro and trivandrum rajdhani running 3 days a week to and fro but bbs rajdhani running 3 days a week it got lhb only thease indian railway people cheating south people @anon: Mar 18 (12:08AM) Sure they are running 3 and 4 days a week, but the passenger load is no where close to mumbai or hwh rajdhani. If you are not aware. there are 2 rajdhanis each from both mumbai and hwh to delhi each day. So i guess you will agree that there are a lot more passengers on these two routes to qualify for LBH coaches in priority. I wrote about sbc mas shatabdi cause i wanted you to know that Southern railways have also been alloted LBH coaches where passenger density is High and track is permissible to run such a fast service. Moreover TVC mumbai track is a sinle track so travel is slower as there are multiple crossings. About bhuwaneshwar rajdhani, there are 2 routes on which it plies. on one it plies for 3 days and the other via adra its 4 days a week. and of this the rajdhani via Adra had old coaches. Entry# 24592 Reply Add Bookmark Remove Post ![]() a super waste duronto...i'd like 2 mention following things 1.its speed is less than trivandrum rajdhani..which follows the same route (according 2 budget duronto must be faster than rajdhani)..nyways let it b 2.3AC charges more than rajdhani(budget said that it'd cost less than rajdhani) 3.food is pathetic...as per the newspaper 4.a complete waste train going almost empty(this can b eleminated though) 5.prefer mangla express/kerela sampark kranti 2 this train...as it charges 50%less in all classes..with hardly 3-4 hours slow(can b managed) @first blogger: yes a lot of things are pitched against this duronto. Its funny that people from different parts of the country made it a prestige issue to have a duronto, and when they are given one, its not even used to optimum capacity. It was P chidambaram, who pressed for a second weekely trip for chennai duronto, which is entirely a loss making train. I guess Ahmedh ministe for state with the railways has to bear the onous of this trains poor performance. better options for duronto would have been banglore- hyb, or sbc tvc. Theres already a shatabdi between sbc and MAS. so didnt include that route. @first blogger: i think Pune Duronto and mumbai hwh duronto are the only services that have really justified the concept of duronto service. There is a significant reduction in travel times with these trains as compared to others on the respective routes. they are both often always booked to capacity and operate on time. With journey date being 31.5.2010, it ought to mention the Berth No. too. Has there been a change in the system so far as Duronto booking is concerened ?
