Yes, people are going to prefer direct trains inbetween these cities, that's why I was expecting this VB to be superflop again after extension upto Prayagraj but it's doing decent numbers, although extension upto Agra would have been more feasible imo.
Immediately band kar dena chahiye isse Ye zig zag route intercity ke layak bhi nahi hai VB chala rahe hai.
Band to nahi hogi Bhai,NER ki pehli aur abhi eklauti VB hai, aur waise bhi ab to earn karna start kar di hai nahi to pehle superflop thi.
Avg of 240 between Prayagraj Lucknow that too in afternoon with 50% occupancy in full summer season for 2 months can be good or decent? Atleast Agra would fetch more as the route is progressive kms with Kanpur stoppage being a city with 40 lacs population. Most of the travellers are sectional passengers and this route is clear case to be replaced with Vande Metro along with some other routes which have only 50% occupancy. Cannot count the number of footfalls as occupancy and live in false mis conception as success.
It was not decided by me to run this train upto Prayagraj, RB and Zonal Board decided this, and also maybe there some operational constraints of not extending this train upto Agra, it's not like they share every detail with us.
Sure, we can question about what they were thinking since there's an Intercity to Lucknow departing 10 mins after VB and reaching about an hour late with less than half of the price, so this train actually getting this occupancy is itself something to cheer about instead of being overly critical....

Reservation suspended for the train after Oct 2nd. All RSA trains reservation are also suspended. Likely to see some changes in TT but since RSA reservation is also suspended, its likely to still have RSA after LHBfication. Will the departure change to morning 06 AM from Charlapalli ? Have to wait and watch.....
One thing is for sure. SR is lazy and waste zone. Especially MAS and TVC , they don't want to maintain no train but keep their zones lol and I say this as SR railfan lol

Yes, 100% agreed. Charminar extension is NOT a solution for this connectivity. If dedicated trains between chennai and hyderabad is extended to various places, then what will the chennai people travelling to Hyderabad or the vice versa will rely on. On extension quota for them gets decreased as well.

It can be 4 days to Nagercoil via VPM direct line to Madurai and 3 days to RMM via Cuddalore Trichy common slot till Villupuram via RU KPD Tiruvannamalai.
Already 16353/4 and 22715/6 is there for weekends. That's why made it triweekly alone.
one best thing which i feel is re-routing 16353/4 via- KPD,TNM,VM, Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur, TPJ, Dindigal, MDU and making it daily is good and the Timings are also so balanced and Re-routing 22715/6 Via- GNT, NLR, MS/RU, AJJ/CGL, VM, Chidambaram, Mayiladaturai, Kumbakonam, Tanjavur, TPJ, MDU, Manamadurai, RMM and making the trains dialy is more than enough all the problems will be solved.
No way. Audience of 16353/54 and 22715/6 is entirely different. It is not only connecting hyderabad alone but also connects cities in rayalaseema like kurnool, kadapa/ananthapuram to interior tamilnadu. And diverting it will be the worst idea. Also 16353/54 and 22715/6 is sharing path with each other towards hyderabad and in return 22715 shares path with 12789. Let 16353/54 and 22715/6 continue as weekly.

Ohhh, this is the line !!! Read about this somewhere few years ago, it's only now I understood its this line !!! 👍
What a route that is !!! Literally every 5kms there is coal loading point !!! OMG 😲
Again another amazing line is Tata-Dangaoposa-Sukinda !!! Thick Deep forests and huge mines !!! Now travelling in 18189 just to explore this part of Jharkhand and Odisha. This is a must for freight fans. Literally freights from all ELS are here ! This route is completely unknown for many as there are too less passenger operations.
