We have been hearing news about Bullet trains being introduced if XYZ comes to power or so & in the present scenario we have much things to do than constructing these .Instead of wasting crores of rupees in the construction of these bullet trains we can invest on trains which can achieve almost same speeds on the present track conditions in India like the Virgin train in the UK or the AMTRAK in US which can achieve great speeds without changing the infrastructure .It would need slight upgradtion but that would be definitely less as compared to construction of new line

hahaha.. sirjee.. We have seen Indian economic debacle under Manmohan Singh, so please leave him alone. And Mr. Amartya Sen had already announced last year that if Modi becomes PM, he'll prefer not to stay in India so unko bhi jaane do.. Don't worry we have many other economist in our country, Modi should definitely take advice from him..

even before taking oath,Modi has started praising the works done by former PM....& even US president respects our former PM for his intellect...he was not a fit guy for the mud-throwing in Indian politics.

nobel laurate, amartya sen, a persons who shaped the economy of many countries...... and manmohan singh ,, persons who shaped the economy of our country..... when our economy wwas going deeep into water he is the person who saved our economy from there....... and Mr. JAGADESH BHAGWATI is just a person who always write in opposite to what amrtya sen has written.... so he dont have any instance where his model worked properly....which he had to prove first...then someone will be able to say bad words against manmohan sing and amrtya sen.,,,,,, and till then both manmohan sing and amrtya sen will remain among "best and prayed"..

Construction cost varies from the model to model and govt also. We need a high speed rapid transportation system for future generations. We cannot link this project with other. We cannot stop metro rails in big cities saying they have slums. In this society every one needs to be taken care.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
