Trains like Garib rath and Duronto need good occupancy to run otherwise they before non profitable and run like white elephants. These type of trains are for high density corridors and not for connectivity to towns. If it is extended then there will be not even 30% occupancy between VSKP and Palasa. You can see the same for Visakha Express once it leaves VSKP half of the train remains empty with only day time passengers with II nd class general ticket. The best way is to increase the coaches of visakha express to 22 as it is present running with 19 only and 2 SL and 1AC 3 Tier.

more... a heavy axle bogies and other technical reasons. VSKP itself needs 3 more coaches in Gr for its present demand as the waiting list is not cleared even in week days also. The real problem for not having more GR trains is the policy of IR has changed after Mamata became RLy minister. Duronto rake are manufactured in place of GR. So there is no chance increase in coaches.
