Hi all. I am posting a trip report for a small journey from WFD to KGI. Hope you enjoy it.
After commuting in all forms of public transport Bangalore offers, a train journey was remaining and I finished my project survey in ITPL and decided to take a train to Majestic. I entered Whitefield which is called Kadugodi station by the people of the area and went to buy my ticket for the DEMU since I wanted to witness the prime minister of the line Brindavan rip WFD. A GY WDG4 led CONCOR rake was in the loop line and the beautiful Golden Chariot was stabled on PF 4. The Marikuppam MEMU entered PF 1 and as I was climbing down

the FoB, the passenger from Marikuppam entered PF 3 with a GOMOH WAG9!! :-o. The WAG9 looked so lonely and like a calf separated from her mother. :-). I bought my ticket and ran to the bakery opposite the station to buy some refreshments. I packed a Black Forest pastry, Lays Chips and a Diet Coke and ran back to the PF to see the signal green and ready to welcome the PM. The PM came with the RPM WAP7 and I was not dissappointed with the show he put up on terms of speed though the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. After Brindavan crushed WFD, the MEMU too left for her destination. I finished my refreshments and was exploring the Golden Chariot. The train looked like it needed a POH(due in 2016) and the vinyl wrap was wearing off. My DEMU came promptly at 4:15 and we set off and I occupied the door on the trackside to catch the King 12008. After the goods terminal, I saw the signal turn and was expecting the king but it was a soldier in the form of a WDG4 twin led BTPN rake. At KJM loco shed. WDP4B gave darshanam and at BYPL, KJM WDP4 led CBE-LTT Express crossed us and after BYPL near BNCE, RPM WAP4 led 12008 blasted past. We soon reached BNC, where two DEMU rakes were on the loop platform and a new DMU rake was on a looP. We were stopped till the NCJ Express with a KJM WDM3D and KCVL Express with an ED WAP4 crossed us. Again we were stopped at SBC home, we stopped till the JTJ Express with a RPM WAP7 and Marikuppam Passenger with a RPM WAP7 crossed us. We reached SBC at 6:10 on PF 6. I ran to the AC Chair Car of the Chamundi Express and the moment I entered, we moved. I had a splitting headache and could not realise anything. After gaining my breath and senses which happened after Jnanabharathi, I was surprised to hear ALCO chugging which was coming from our train. On disembarking at KGI, I saw that not one but twin KJM WDG3A were powering us. I went home and as I sip a cuppa I am writing this.
Thanks for reading.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
