Presenting SER's first operational Rajdhani. With the technical halts of the NDLS bound Durontos being converted to commercial halts, a faster higher priority train like a Rajdhani is much needed!
Now of all the terminals in Kolkata, Shalimar is the least congested. However it is diffcult to access and also lacks LHB maintainance abilities. Santraganchi Junction another nearby terminal is compartively well connected. That it has a E-loco shed and LHB maintainance, made it's casepoint even stronger. The train starts at Santraganchi and joins the HWH-NDLS line in Dankuni via the CCLW link. This train gives a Rajdhani link to Bardhamaan which until now had a weekly Rajdhani link. This train was made to give more priority and more ticketing to

smaller stations en-route like Parasnath, Koderma.....that is the reason Dhanbad and Mughalsarai have been made Techical Halts for crew change and catering purposes, while Gaya has been skipped!
The last Rajdhani that I made had a controversial run of sorts to say the least, hope this one doesn't repeat it's predecessor's feat....
Kindly review and flag.....do mention a reason incase you red-flag!
Thanks.....

Thats what I was advising him..
SRC/KOAA/HWH/SDAH has enough train to delhi/NDLS/ANVT but hardly any train to KLK/ASR/SVDK if this train could extend to ASR/SVDK then I gurantee this will be superhit..

Train deleted.......and the average speed of 18kmph is not from SRC to BWN, but from SRC to CCLW as it is single line that takes a near 360 degree curve and joins the main line at DKAE....you should have checked by viewing all the intermediate stations....

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
